Who has sent flowers and such from the States to CR? I need some business names and some shared experiences of such.

BD, I suggest http://www.costaricaflores.com I have used them several times and always with good results. I'm not associated with the florist and have never even been in their shop. I hope the link still works. I used them back in my Novia days. Just know that in CR, the girls don't like yellow roses and they expect you to know that. :roll: :D

Don't forget....Mother's Day in Costa Rica is August 15th.....AND it's a BIG DEAL!! :!: :!:

+1 Website has an English version. No issues with paying online with your CC. Just make sure that you have a good address and equally good phone number to provide them. Depending on the delivery location, they charge a delivery fee, about $10.

To me this is like the guy that takes his date to a very expensive restaurant and girl looks at the menu has no ideal what she has order as she just picks the item that costs the most then later he finds out she would of wish they went to kfc as that is her favorite place .......they dont understand or care about flowers .....your efforts will go without meaning ...treating a working girl ( assuming that she is since this is a monger site) willing only end with frustrating the sender.

Chili, you're usually more attentive in your reading before posting.

Again, why do you all assume that I am interested in sending flowers to a puta?

Number one: there are more women in Costa Rica than just the prostitutes you all know.

Number two: there are more reasons to send flowers than just a silly infatuation with a P4P provider.

Have you looked at the idea from a cultural point of view. Sending flowers is a very rich world thing.
In a poorer country spending $50 to $100 on flowers could be considered as a stupid waste when that money could be used to buy more useful necessities.
Like the example above the girl would have loved KFC instead of the food bought at the expensive gringo priced restaurant.
Consult your Tico/Tica friends or one of the expats there about your plan.

Pretty much every woman on Earth appreciates flowers, regardless of age, race, nationality, profession or from whom they receive them. :mrgreen:
