There's a shop on the 2nd floor of the little mall across from NYB, pricey though. Also a bigger shop in San Pedro mall.

Something that costs $15-20 in a porn store here in US, will cost $ 5-8 on dearlady. True story - quite a few years ago, right after TSA started checking outgoing luggage I flew from DFW to Cozumel, Mexico. I had a "novia" that wanted me to bring her a dildo, since they weren't available in Cozumel at that time. So on eBay I found a rather large one that was bright green, had an LED & took 2 size C batteries (yeah, she had a big puzzy but could suck the chrome off the hitch). I sure didn't want to put it in my carryon, so I put it in the bottom of my suitcase wrapped up in some sox.

When I got to Cozumel, I hit the red light and put my suitcase up on the table for inspection. As soon as they opened it, the big green machine was right on top of everything, no longer hidden in the sox. The inspector took one look at it, quickly closed the suitcase back up and sent me (and my extremely red face) on my way. Thank god he didn't pull it out for all the other inspectors to admire.

So when I got to the hotel, I opened up the suitcase and took a closer look. There was one of those TSA cards on top that said the luggage had been checked. AND there was a hand written note on the back that said "no batteries next time".

Could've been worse I guess, at least she appreciated the gift and instructed me on how to properly use it on her.

Like a phucking dumbass, I forgot about the carry-on check in SJO as you board a US-bound flight. The lady doing my bag check was maybe 55 years old, so when she saw a toy (I bought it to bring home for the wifey a couple of years ago and kept it in my locker at SL until I remembered it this trip), she took it out half-way and started looking at it from different angles. It was both embarrassing and funny as shit, and some of the people behind me got a good laugh too I'm sure. I just wanted to crawl under the table. I was waiting for her to call over a supervisor as she didn't know what it was at first, maybe a rocket projectile or something. I think she figured it out eventually. :lol:
