I am planning a last minute 4 week vacation in cr. Any suggestions on how to find chicas who want to travel. Are there other places than going fishing in HDL?

I wouldn't recommend traveling around with a stranger, but if you're going to do it anyway, there are plenty that would love to travel, make a big "salary," and have guaranteed income with just one person.

Just discuss that you would like to go to ....... Are you interested?

So much has been written on this subject - recently, so it would be a great help to you to do a search.

Roller, your post began 100% correct, but at the end, not so much. :lol:

In short, its one of those ideas that looks great in theory - I mean who would not like to travel with a pretty young latin girl.......

The reality is, most often its a disaster.

In all reality, you are looking to pick up a sex worker, and travel with her (b/c you are not going to go into an office and ask if any pretty girls want to travel for a month :roll: :P :roll: ) - someone you have nothing in common with, probably don't speak each other language, and have dissimilar interests <note: you cant Phuck 24 hours a day :P >

The vast majority who have tried it along the parameters you outlined report it a really bad idea (personally, I don't have to touch the red hot stove to know it burns :lol: ) - that you reference the Hotel Del Rey (I assume) is another red flag.

My advice is to get to know the country first - read the board, use the search function - read Orange's guide for newbi's in the Newbi section - its impossible to read too much.

what is it you'll be doing for 4 weeks? Is it a pure vacation where you are in control of the itinerary, or is there a schedule you need to keep?

If you can spend 2 weeks in the central valley (and in the gulch every night), you'll have time to meet a bunch of chicas and select the ones that would be a good match for you to travel with. It's always a crap-shoot, but the more time you can spend sifting through the options, the better off you're decision will be.

If your plans call for a swift exit from the gulch area, then you're really going to have to 'guess' on a traveling partner, and that is where Scuba's warnings will come home to roost.

Regardless of your choice, please keep us in the know on how it went for you. Knowledge is gained off the experience of others.

Having just busted our CR cherry I would say Bashfuls questions about your plans are worthwhile. We had a guest with us for 3 days and it was a blast. The vibe was good, etc. BUT 3 days vs 4 weeks. Huge difference. If there was anyway to make shorter out-and-back trips to "trade out" a guest who wasn't working out seems more safe, in a risky game.

We got lucky and the guest was vouched for on several levels.

It will likely be hard to win the gamble at HDR. It might be better to visit with some expats in person, especially ones that know the girls. Even if you had to work a deal to "bar fine" a girl off work for a short trip, the value of a positive experience versus picking a random at HDR.... worth it.

We went there with open minds so we could learn and the guys came through for us.

Finding a girl who is willing to go out of town is not as easy as you would think. First of all you have to find a girl who doesn't have K*ds or who can get a baby sitter. Then you have to think of what is appropriate compensation. The girls work because they have bills to pay. Sex to them is a job. Just paying their expenses doesn't cut it. The right girl can turn a vacation into the trip of a lifetime. I took a girl to Jaco for a weekend 8 years ago. We are still together.

Pops is correct. You have to choose wisely. It can be a total disaster if you don't do you due diligence. Or it can be an awesome experience. I took a girl to a Guanacaste beach resort for Memorial Day weekend in 2006. We just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. :oops: :oops: :oops:

Can it work great - sure - will it, given newbi's who know nothing of the country, latin culuture, and are using the HDR (probably b/c its all they know :roll: ) as their base site - not a bet I'd be willing to make

many things come up here, not the least of which is "what are you looking for?".

I agree with you completely. Newbies must concede the differences between 'sex for money' and 'companionship for money' ... these require different templates for successful decision-making.

Not saying his query isn't legit, and it's good to question ourselves sometimes on what might seem obvious but why are we taking this question seriously? My position: Hell, no, what are you, crazy? Any tips you can share about the restaurants/sodas utilized and price points? Taking pictures of the meal prior to consumption is helpful for many (myself included, although I've got a pretty firmly entrenched eating pattern (stick with what you know: Soda Akropolis up from Hotel La Amistad; across the street from that big ass hospital Calderon; serving a fantastic pasta bowl with salad and garlic toast; etc. Pictures of the under $5.00 feast are somewhere around here.....; etc.). Café Mundo; the soda across the way from Hotel Castillo; the MOST EXCELLENT food (both taste wise and cost effectiveness wise at Hotel La Amistad); and the more ....much more....upscale places poster Zunbake 3 will be happy to share with you IF you want to pay to play for great food and wonderful environments. No McDonald's or KFC.

Still, keep the details of the sex acts to yourself in my view. Don't feed the hapless trolls who, evidently, can't exist on their own due to severe intrapersonal limitations and require the vicarious (can't handle full on 3d which would mean touching and smelling and feeling and well, being human. Sadly there are many posters who have simply lost this integral aspect of simply being: they "get by" through your hard fought for and accomplished and achieved mission driven outcomes).
