I'm thinking of a trip to Jaco the first week in June, but I'm also considering other alternatives, such as Colombia, Germany, or Prague. Anyone done any mongering in one of those places who could help me make a comparison? I'm looking to get the best "bang for my buck", so to speak I've been to SJ a couple of times, and my last visit was not nearly as enjoyable as the first. I've heard HDR has really gone downhill. Also, if I visit Jaco, and there are no rooms at Cocal, could someone suggest a couple of chica-friendly hotels for me? Thanks.

I've been coming to HDR for over 10 years, seems like the last 5 years it's been pronounced dead every year, but yet there's hundreds of guys and hundreds of working girls and every vacation I meet 5 to 10 hotties there who give me great GFE (after a thorough interview), it's almost always packed in the evening and near packed in the late afternoon, on the rare occasion it's not, Scores, SL, Zona, NF and a few others are all close, if they are dead, wait till late and key Largo kicks in, if you're still having a problem it's Easter or Christmas, wait until tomorrow...

On another note, a buddy of mine who works from his computer and travels all over the world mongering (yes I hate him) went to Prague and fell in love several times a day, he said the girls are all educated, intelligent, many speak perfect English with an incredible sexy accent, they are classy, tall, clean, many resemble super models.
If you're not afraid of dodging Ruskies shooting at you, he also traveled and stayed in Kiev, Ukraine, the economy there is in shambles and he even said he was almost embarrassed about what he got away with paying those women, but he said they were the sexiest most sensuous beautiful women he has ever met, I looked up on google Ukraine women and the pictures will blow your mind. Go to either of these places instead of Germany, I don't know for sure, but since Germany is first world like USA, I bet you have to pay full retail...

Check Canciones del Mar - also, I was told the Delrey opened a property there - lots of chica friendly places, but be careful of a fee. That time of year you should be fine - its rainy season.

HDR going down hill is as common a debate as you will find on this board - my comment is if the HDR and KL are your primary "go to" places, you need to get out more - there are tons of Massage Parlors, bars, clubs, et al that you can meet company - and bring them back to your room.

What you need is a knowledgable wingman, frankly.

I was in Jaco in Feb, and the other places you mentioned appeal to me more - but that's not to say you should not visit Jaco.

Jaco gets many amature mongers, as well as guys from Los Sueneos who can afford to pay - driving up the prices - check out the Beetle Bar after midnight, after the Cocal closes.

The "scene" in Jaco is very Delreyish - many girls, all wanting $100 or more; it reminded me of the Delrey 10 years ago - it reminds me of the HDR - for me, Jaco is OK as a place, but if you want to monger, go to San Jose.

While it's not cheap, I would recommend the German FKK's at least once. There are cheaper ones but the 3 big ones are about €50-65 to enter for the whole day. The sessions are then about €50 for 30 minutes, you can do as many as you want. It's different and was enjoyable, but not sure if I would go to Europe just for that.

Everything I have ever read or heard about Kiev is that the woman are fine. Obviously, with the political situation, this is not the time to be even thinking about going there.

Colombia is pretty good. The women in general are very good looking. And the chance of getting a GFE is higher than any other place that I have been to. Not 100%, but 3 out of 4 should be.

Hahahaha...When I first started coming to Costa Rica 10 years ago, everyone told me I should visit Jaco, "It's the Ft. Lauderdale of Costa Rica!!!" people told me. I'm from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and it's a huge metropolitan sophisticated wealthy city, full of fun and excitement and places to go, things to do, so naturally I was excited to visit Jaco. When I went there I was stunned at what a dirt hole one street nowhere back alley sh*t hole town it was. I kept asking "Is this it ???" Then I saw the dirty filthy litter filled beaches! Oh well, pulled a cutie from Beatle Bar, took her back to the little dog house hotel we were staying at and made something out of the trip.

I do hear from some pro's that go to Cocal that the girls are stunning and asking $100 but if you stand your ground, many are giving in to $60, $70, $80....especially when it starts getting late and they haven't scored a paycheck yet...

Jaco is not for everyone, its got a funky, slightly seedy vibe.
If Jaco is the toilet then not sure what SJ would be considered? Maybe the septic tank?

Disregard the naysayers and see it for yourself.

More options in SJ for sure, but the real honeys are in Jaco.

Germany is the place to go.... But not cheap

Thanks for the advice. I do appreciate it. Whatever I do, I probably won't go to SJ, at least not on this trip. As I mentioned, my last visit was not as much fun as the first. HDR's selection seemed to be inferior to what it had been a couple of years before. I stayed at SL, and I liked it, but it felt a little limited by seeing the same women every time. I actually had a stalker. I paid the first time, but she wanted more because I gave her "orgasmo", so the second time I didn't pay. She would stare me down every time I came to the bar from then on. Not what I want!
I'm on a foreign bride site that's actually legitimate, and the women from Ukraine who email are amazing. The Russians have gotten there (yet), so it might be worth the risk to be American sugardaddy for a week. I've heard Prague is loaded too. FKK World in Germany is supposedly one of the best brothels in Europe. I have to see it before I die lol.

The sites are all legitimate, it's the woman that are scammers. Watch your back (and your bank account).

I have been going to Germany and Spain for years. I am more of a MP person but they have good pick up clubs too. I like them both. I have never been to the FKK's in Germany have heard good things. I just get tired of getting the Dollar get beat up so badly by the Euro. I have never been to Central America and I am really looking forward to it. I am coming down with a wingman who Speaks spanish and I know enough to get my point across.I really thank you guys for all the advice and post. It really helps to make the right calls. I like to travel informed. You guys have been more helpful than you know. I was going to stay in Jaco but have changed my mind. I think for what I am looking for is in SJ. I might take the bus to Jaco for the day Just to check it out. Going down in July so Jaco did not seem the right place at the right time for me. I am going to stay at Amisted for my first trip. I Just wanted some feedback on it you guys think its a good call for my first trip. Thanks.

The beach is not as dirty as some would have you believe manuel Antonio is only a 45 minute drive.
Its nice to have a beer/coffee and look at the ocean much quieter than san jose.
Most girls want $100 some might take less if all you want is girls your probably better off in san jose-more options.
I have only been to costa rica 15 times with 7 trips to jaco and various beaches,im not afraid to spend money and don't need to always need/find bargain.
I am a true amateur monger and intend to stay that way.

Great Hotel, everyone who writes about it seems to love it, I personally have never stayed there but everyone here who stays there loves the place, great service, great rooms, great food. Staying in San Jose gives you options of Del Rey girls, SL girls, multiple MP's, all within walking distance (or short cab, highly recommended at night). A short side trip to Jaco is a good idea, you can experience the girls at Cocal and check around the place, their main street has a few good places to eat. Stay on this board and don't be shy about asking questions, most of us like to help. Before you arrive, you can arrange to meet different guys here who will be happy to burn your ear with tales and give whatever advice they can, SL bar seems to be a good meeting place. If you're used to paying Euro prices, you'll enjoy the lower fare here and the chicas here are quite similar to what you experience in Spain. You might just become a CR monger convert.

I am going to Jaco for the weekend because I hear many of the better looking ladies are there on weekends. During the week I will also be at Hotel L.A. not sure when in July you are going but maybe we will overlap on our stay.

Yea I think so too. I live in Florida so going to the beach is not an issue. I still want to go to the coast and check out a lot of the country too. Primary goal is to experience a different culture and which will involve a lot of sampling the fine young talent. Just want to have a good home base and not be limited to one area. A big plus is Amisted has the all inclusive deal and the bus. The CRT hookups help a lot too. I love cigars so I am sure I will be in HLH. I hope to meet members in SL. It will be the first stop…..Have to pickup the my card.
