Well, I've been wanting to come to CR for some time but I recently found something that's got me saving. The bf of seven years is ring shopping ;) I would like to do our honeymoon there (he's already expressed not wanting a long engagement since we've been dating for a while) but I want to set up a particularly awesome night while we're there. because of this I have a few ?'s : Is there a way to get in touch with them before we come down and set up a planned event? or have them get tested not long before we arrive?

Your dude is a really lucky guy to have such an adventurous GF. But, as a practical matter, you'll have to forget about the testing and take whatever chances that you think are appropriate under the circumstances - - - - - like all of us do.

I know a "few" chicas but it all depends on what you-he-both like and want!! I can even send you pictures of some that might fit your needs depending on what your "needs" are!!! As for negotiations, I really do not get involved in that. I can help with language /communication problems if any help is needed.

As for the testing, about the only way to get that done would be to pay for the test (not cheap even here). The one place I am familiar with charges about $80 per complete test. And being sure the chica/s would actually have the test done after sending them the money would be suspect at best!! As for the STD rates in this country, they are extremely low and even lower among the "working chicas" (surprising to many but shouldn't be). I live here, am with chicas several times a week, have used a condom one time in the last 6 months, and I have nothing! Actually few chicas will have sex without a condom, but most of those that I see are chicas I have known for years, I seldom do a new chica!


I would also like to add that I think it is great you are so "open minded' and willing to go to this extreme for the guy you love!! If more Gringas were like that there would be fewer guys sneaking down here, and I think, fewer divorces!!

That's definitely good to hear! I definitely wouldn't want to go "sight unseen" necessarily, I've just been seriously overprotective of my V. (To the point of getting slapped at the bar for asking for a pedigree lol but herpes is 1/4 in the states) and while the bf is surely down it's honestly equally for me ;) prostitute has always been on my bucket list. I don't really have much of a booty, so that's honestly what I'm looking for but as long as they're down for a group thing and aren't lazy I'm sure everything will go smoothly. I'm torn on whether or not it should be a surprise. He knows I'd like to do it because we thought about it last time we went through Nevada but between price and quality that was a Hell no. Just because it's on my bucket list dosn't mean I'm taking a cut rate girl(s) for a call in price, lol. Another issue is we don't really plan on staying in Jaco or San Jose (we've got lots of fishing to do on lake arenal and out of quepos!) Jaco and quepos seem pretty close though so maybe something can be worked out. And honestly 80$ to get tested isn't too bad even if they were charging 200/hr. thats still half the rate for what I'm assuming is probably double the quality.



I got pretty lucky honestly I got one of the [few?] guys that would be okay with sticking to one girl all his life <3 and because he doesn't have to that translates to him kicking out the other girl so I can have all his cuddles after it's done <3

I just read a series of articles about STD occurance around the world. CR is ranked just above the United States (out of 100 countries). Not too shabby for a 'poor' country.

Pretty much true. Over a span of years, statistically, the biggest killers of tourists in Costa Rica are drowning and traffic accidents.

I've never been much for the big city so I'll pass on the brooklyn bridge, but I can assure you I am a real girl with a real dilemma. I'm honestly surprised that no one has called troll on me before this, Ive been going back and forth on whether or not to post cause I figured I'd just get left to peruse anyways. lol

Kunoichi, I just set up an account a couple of days ago myself. It looks like you're not taking offense, which is good. I was warned by a couple of friends about this kind of behavior on CRT, and from what I've seen so far, their advice seems to be pretty much right on the money.

In answer to your original question:

Meeting someone online and having them tested before you arrive, for your first visit to Costa Rica, will be problematic. Costa Rica is not anywhere near that formal and rigidly social. Your best bet is to get down here and just start shopping. Negotiations in person will be much easier and have a much greater chance of success. There are plenty of girls up for this kind of thing at the usual haunts.

Let me be polite - we have had a RASH of posts from trolls lately - and the more "out there" the post/question the more possible its from someone who resides under a bridge.

So I'm not gonna appologise for questioning a brand new poster when the content is "out there" - noting personal, but I don't like trolls and like sock puppets even less - they can destroy a message board.

If the shoe does not fit, don't wear it - but while 'Kun has a singular question and is unlikely to become a long tem poster and member - in your case BMW, if you see yourself posting and contributing to the site strongly consider a paid VIP membership - it adds a lot to credibility :wink:

These four statements confirm everything I've been told. This is no personal offense to you, Mr. Scuba1, you're just stating the same exact things that my friends warned me about.

I don't know you and I don't know any of the guys that you mentioned, but my friends that warned me have all been off of this board for one year or more.

When any new poster is suspected of being a troll or an alias for a known troublemaker, that's an indication that I am not where I need to be.

In the meantime, I have checked out some of the other threads and WOW! No amount of valid information can compete with that nonsense.

Again, this is not against you. I've seen what I need to see. The moderators of this site would have to PAY ME to stay here. I'm going back to my little cubby-hole in Rohrmoser.
