Getting my vernacular correct is one reason I'm doing research, please clarify?

I'm confused.

Perhaps I should keep it simple & refer to them as "Working Girls" :oops:

Oh Yeah, don't think I ever mentioned "Chica" in my original post - Now I'm really confused.

Simply being nice and polite is my policy. I make a point of saying hello and hugging every girl I see if I've ever been with her. Some I'll talk with, maybe buy them a drink. It's casual, easy, and friendly usually. And I honestly like most of them and enjoy seeing them to chat....hell, maybe even take to the room again.

100% jealous girls in the sportmens, for your money or whatever they think about you I have stayed at other hotels ( and trust me I love the sportmens) there had been times when I had to eat most of my meals in my room due to bullshit from the constant begging of drinks or food to the " why you dont take me "
The past few trips have been better, maybe since there have been less girls and maybe they are getting more business, last year my girl came to meet me for lunch as a rule we would go out but as we were leaving I scan the bar and see maybe 3 groups of girls , I figure it's safe to have lunch, so I ask my girl do you mjnd if we eat here she says ok and within 5 mins I see the eyes of no less of 4 girls on me, one even comes over and sits next to our table , l see my girl getting pissed and I decide its its time to go before the bullshit starts.

My trip in 4 days I have picked the amisted just for this reason , since my girl and I have been getting along very well from my last trip, I figured that I would try to see how it works for us without the working girl factor in her face when she comes to the hotel.

Am thinking I might stay at SL, but it seems to be quite the place to pick up Ticas as well. Now, let's say I grab tica #1 one night & tica #2 the next night from the same place. That's a big no-no in Thailand unless you explain things up front quite clearly to them that you are a "Butterfly", & like to sample different flowers. Also somewhat worried about grabbing a Tica & having to see her again every time I come downstairs. I once grabbed a gal for TLN (Long Time) out of the Tahitian Queen in Pattaya, & she was a dud, but wouldn't leave me alone every time I walked in, till I hooked up with another one. Damned near had to beat her off me. I know how to say "NO", but just curious about their attitudes though. As always, any advice on this is most appreciated. Enjoy!!!!! El D

From what little I know, hookers in most countries are from that country (exceptions abound but in Pattaya, say, aren't most of the women Thai? And so on). In CR a significant portion are from elsewhere. Long story short: Ticas are CR women, hooker or (mostly) not; Chicas are a common term for hookers from wherever (Dominicanas, Colombianas, et al AND Ticas). Not being funny or bruising in this--just saving you some grief.

Some chicas are territorial, but I haven't seen confrontationals in SL or HDR (though I am sure a few have erupted). Most will see you the next day and try to angle another date out of you, but as RoadMan says, polite and friendly. They'll see you pull another, label you in their little book as the pig you are, and then go look for another guy to satisfy. No harm done. [EDIT] oh, one thing about this: don't show a weakness to say "NO" to them ... I have seen guys get bullied by girls they have been with in the past (same trip or past trips). Some girls won't take a polite "no" for an answer ... you have to be polite but FIRM in your resolve.[/EDIT]

Ask for room 202; large room and you have about 5 windows which you open for a great breeze ; you can see everyone entering the hotel; it's up the first set of stairs to the left so you don't have to walk thru and parade your chica in front of everyone; it has a huge Jacuzzi which is awesome but takes a long time to fill; shower which will hold 3 people ; the computers are right outside the room ; every night for me TLN in that room

Simple answer is that it is NOT like LOS and they usually expect you to be going with different girls. Of course a girl will try for repeat business but no scenes like happens in a Thai bar. Just be polite and firm.
