Go to the Hotel Del Rey.

Ask around for a girl named MARIA. If you can't find her, pick any other girl that you like.

I suggest Laura, she can be found most evenings at the Casa Pres, but you better hurry.

I know I'm front-running Scuba1 on this but--don't confuse the words Tica with chica. The first is any Costa Rican woman, the second is (at least here) the women we seek for pleasure who could be any Latina or even from elsewhere. Sorry to be a scold but this is the kind of little thing that can mark you as a <insert term of scorn here>. Now back to scheduled broadcast...

A man known as Josh Billings, one of the leading American humorists during the second half of the nineteenth century, once said this: “It ain’t what a man don’t know that makes him a fool…It’s all the things he does know…that just ain’t so.”

Jazz, thanks for picking up the banner :) :)

(This guy is not for real, Jazz, although I do find his posts humorous - I would call him what he is, you know, the "T" word used to describe one who on an on like forum posts needlessly provoctave posts designed to stir controversy but was told previously we can't use that word - even when it fits  )

True all that, my Brother but (1) this serves as a reminder of this thing to all who stumble across this convo; (2) the dudeperson was hip enough to quote one of America's premier rural comics/folk poets. A kudos for that...and crass enough to append Mr. Billings descriptor, as if we wouldn't know about him--thus the kudos diminishes. And the evening beckons...but first:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Billings
not to be confused with: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Billi ... catcher%29
or: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Billi ... pitcher%29
neither of the ballplayers was known for witty homilies

you mean those things that live under bridges and demand tribute to pass? you mean the green, scaly things in World of Warcraft that are so hard to kill?

Who lets them on the internet? Next thing you know, they'll be covered by Obamacare too!

Some would believe that mentioning something/anything opens it up for discussion. The ACA mention was one such (if only by the backdoor)--please please don't go there again. Please.

If you guys are looking for a battle of wit, I must excuse myself. I do not fight with unarmed defenseless people. Have a nice day.
