Post subject:  Ideas for a game plan when staying at a hostel?

Hey all, I've been scouring the forums and getting a lot of helpful info. But I'm going to SJ next month and am trying to minimize costs by staying at a hostel. What would be a good game plan be since I won't be able to bring ladies back? Like would I still be able to go to SL or HDR and use their rooms or will i have to stick with MPs? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hostel will cost you around $20-30. Take a chica to a short- term hotel will cost around $10. Total cost of hostel and short-term hotel is around $30-40. Get a room at the Morazan(chica friendly) will cost you between$40-50.

cheers,
Attila

#1 Don't stay in a hostel. If costs are that much of an issue, maybe save up some more before you go. Hotel Castillo is like $40/night. If you're willing to pay $60-80/girl and spending $400+ on airfare, you really need to save on hotels? Really?

I'm not judging, just a little puzzling. If you decide to go, use MP's. It's anywhere from $24 to $68 for a session.

There are also love motels you can take a chica from HDR or SL to. They charge anywhere from $10-40. La Oficina (avenida 9, calle 1 ) is really good, it's about $15 for 3 hours. Motel Asia is around the corner from HDR, but bring a can of Raid with you; though I have heard that it's not so bad anymore.

Hotel Queen. It's a relatively new "hot-sheet" hotel directly across Ave. 1 from the HDR entrance.

It's pretty cheap and pretty clean. Hotel Queen. It's about the same price as the HDR chica fee.

The advice above about the Castillo and the Morazan is good advice, too. Of those two, I like the Castillo better than the Morazan.

Now that's hot news Rac. Somebody saw an angle.

Adding to list of cheaper but acceptable places, Freebird, has a website. Has a few cheaper rooms in the back that share a bathroom. Great location. No chica fees. Very clean. Secure gated entrance. Free calls & internet. Great host. Loud street noise and also possibly from your groaning humping roommates. Better then a Hostel for not much more.
