First of all Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the information and help. You guys definitely got me prepared for my first trip to CR!!

Me and a few buddies are headed to Jaco this weekend and staying at the Cocal.

I was wondering how much I should expect to pay for a chica to spend the whole day/night with me and leave in the morning.

I'm sure its gonna vary widely from girl to girl but a ballpark would help me when I'm negotiating.

Also, does anyone know how much chicas are charging to go on fishing charters(full day/8 hours) ?

Your question is like asking "How much does a car cost."

The price range is very, very wide, and the final deal depends on your negotiating skills along with supply-and-demand. Bring a lot of cash. If you're lucky, you can take some of it back home.

From what I read here ( jaco is more expensive than San Jose) I'd expect the gal to start at
350-400 USD she may settle on 250 if your handsum man and she likes you .

good question but everything is relative.

i've taken a favorita who I had a relationship with to Manual Antonio, I paid for everything (food, room, tours, drinks etc...) and gave her $75 per day. Again, I had a relationship with her and been with her several times over several trips.

Had another one who would go with you for days at a time but wanted $100 per session (so if she stayed all day and night and you only did it once $100, twice $200...you get it) I also picked up food, drink and tour etc... Again had a relationship with this one too. (by the way for that $100 there were no rules and she phucked me like I was her man)

You could go as high as $400-$500 and everything in between.

Way to many variables.

It really depends on a lot - and Jaco is more expensive than San Jose (In SJ, I'd say $100 - 150)

I'm gonna throw out something for your (re)consideration:

Do you really want to pay a bunch of money for them to sleep???

Bringing them out on a charter (some will disagree;and that's OK - you will make the final decision; your money and your time) is one of those things that sounds good but can turn to shit - the girls, known for other talents vs their fishing prowess, can become real pains in the ass on the boat -

Guess you can tell from the post that I'm not a fan of all nighters, nor taking girls out on a charter :) :lol: :) :) :lol:

Let me play "Carnak" (Are you old enough to remember him; it was a character played by Jonny Carson, where he guessed things contained in an envelope - was pretty funny) and guess the following:

You are fairly young
You have a decent job and make a few bucks
All this is new to you

Am I close?

PS Nothing you are asking about is weird or out of the ordinary - some guys love to do what you posted about, and that's fine - I'd tell you to reconsider - even if the money is a minor concern, especially on a charter.

If you say, WTF, I want to have company on the boat, and the mate does not count :lol: - make sure you ask the captain and clear it with him first.

With someone you just met as opposed to Bone's way, it's going to be hit or miss in terms of quality time, in terms of the money, that's another issue. FFFF, remember when that was a popular expression? Really applicable to the CRT craft with your fact scenario..

In SJ, you can get an all nighter for 200-300. If you are talking all day and then the night, it'll probably be more like 300-400.

In Jaco, the supply is lower, so chicas price accordingly. For picking up a girl in Cocal at 10pm and asking her to spend the night (probably till 6-7am), my guess would be that they would ask 300-500. You can try to haggle obviously.

As for fishing... unless you know the girl well, what exactly is she going to do on the boat for 8 hours? You will be fishing and she'll try to get on her phone until she realizes there's no signal and then she's gonna be a pain in your ass for the rest of the day. How's your Spanish? If you can actually converse, that may help but what about the next 7 hours? If there's more than 1, and they know each other, they may talk for a while but that will get boring soon too. Then there's the motion sickness and smell. If you're seriously looking to fish, leave the girls on land, they ain't going anywhere. Otherwise, you may just have to deal with a nagging princess (and pay for it) all day.

Remember sharks don't do well on boats; after a few hours, you will want to toss her in the water.

Thanks for all the replies guys!!

Good points on the fishing and wasting money just on them sleeping.

You're right on the money Scuba with me being young with money to blow and this being my first trip. But, I'll try my best to interview and negotiate accordingly as well as watch out for sharks as taught by this forum.

Hopefully I'll come back with an exciting trip report for you guys!

TLN is not everyone's thing, but I like to wake up next to a body. The only time I would consider an All Day plan is if I had a thing with the chica, and she was interested in the trip. I have a day tour scheduled for my next trip, and I'm taking a chica that wants to go. According to her she's not seen 2 of the sites. I'm not paying for her time, but I am footing the bill for food and tickets.
Some would say I'm a sucker, but I really don't want to do the tours alone. Now, if I could just get her interested in the bungee jump!!!

Not at all.....you know her, have developed some rapport, and are not paying her for her time, simply expenses associated with the trip - very different from a TLN, or just taking some random chick out on a boat for the day - difference is you know her, and that's fine.

exactly my point. She 'wants' to take the trip, so I don't mind footing the bill. At the very least, it's someone to clown around with for the day. But I'd never try this when I'm actually going to be focusing on something else, like fishing.

(I know what you are saying about teaching them to fish, but the potential <make that likely :wink: > downside that you, me and Orange mentioned in our posts makes it a non starter - for what a boat costs, especially in Jaco, plus, a lot of captains don't want working girls on board)
