Post subject: | Questions about Manuel Antonio/July trip |
Hey fellow CRTers, I would like to get your advice on an upcoming trip to CR. I will be down July 3-7. I am a bit undecided about my itinerary once I get there. I was hoping to go to Manuel Antonio with a chica I met last November in the SL. Very nice, seemed like a semi-pro. TLNed with her for $200. Speaks English well. Was very sweet. But yesterday, she hit me up with an RFM for $400 to help her pay her rent, then said it would be $300 day once I was with her. ![]() ![]() Anyway, I really would like to go to the beach in CR. I’ve never been, and I hear that MA is the best. So, I’m thinking about going to MA for 2 days then spending my last two days in San Jose, at the usual haunts. My questions: What is the best place to stay in MA that is chica friendly? Are the chica prices about the same in MA/Quepos? I see that there are a couple of p4p venues, at least, in Quepos. Or, now that my plans have changed, should I go to MA at all or go to Jaco? Or, should I spend all my time in San Jose, like I normally do? ![]() Ok, any thoughts on any of this very much appreciated. ![]() Cheers TD |

sounds like you made the right choice w the girl the beach at MA is really nice but not a lot of p4p action from all the reports i see the cocal at jaco would be a lot better although the beach is not nearly as nice good luck |

ladiablo gives you good advice. you can go to jaco for the girls and spend your days at playa Hermosa(ten miles from jaco) much nicer beach and some cute girls working the restaurant next to backyard hotel...also a good place to stay.might even get lucky and have a surf competition going on. |

Thanks guys! But I have now changed plans, at least for my July trip. After my chica got serious GPS ![]() But, I do appreciate the advice very much. Me and mi amigo Chris Long will be heading to Jaco over Labor Day weekend, and these thoughts and suggestions will be very useful then. Cheers and Pura Vida! ![]() TD |

Pay for Play is a waste in Quepos. It is possible to pick up a Dominicana in Wacky Wandas but I never saw one that was worth the effort. The beach at Manuel Antonio inside the park is nice but takes an effort to enjoy. You have to walk over a mile through the park to get to the water. The beach outside the park is no better than most other beaches from Heradura south. |

Manuel Antonio is one of my favorite spots in Costa Rica, but the p4p is sorely lacking. The beach and the park are worth a visit for a few days. Quepos is a 10 minute drive from the park. My last trip there was in 2009... and the only p4p I saw was in two small bars across the street from the Great Western Kamuk hotel. There were maybe 12 working girls in the two bars... a Colombiana, a girl from Panama, and the rest were ticas from other regions of Costa Rica. The selection was marginal at best. |
