Can my wing man buy a cell phone at the airport? Looking for what some call a burner. Prepaid phone with set amount of time? Ballpark price. Thanks in advance. |

In early January, I got a simple, Samsung Model GT-E1205 basic phone at the Kolbi desk in Baggage claim at SJO for $20. They take dollars or colones. It came with 90 minutes of air time on the SIM.. It Worked great all around SJ. It's easy to reload the SIM at any Kolbi dealer. I used the one across the street from Hotel Asia. I believe that they told me that I won't loose the phone number if I reload the Sim with any amount at least every 120 days. |
