They are not all ripoffs.
I go to Le Grillon and have never been cheated. The bar tab is in a cup on your table in front of you. When you buy a drink, chica drink, or private time, it all goes on the tab. Nobody can add shit when you are not looking. If you don't notice somebody padding it, you are too drunk to be in public. Unlike Pantera Rosa and D'Pelufos, the private time upstairs is fixed priced (18,000 per 20-30 minutes as of August). Drinks for the girls are 5,000. You get 2 beers with entrance.
Pantera Rosa - don't run a tab, dancers will try to charge as much as they think you are dumb enough to pay
Tango India - ripoff joint, they will actually exort patrons as they try to leave and threaten violence if you don't pay some ridiculous amount.
The real negative are the rooms. They are small and disgusting. Unless you go VIP like SantasBro said (ahhh Sofia, a blast from the past), the short-term rooms are dark, small, and grungy. Very very low rent, no running water. You can wipe with some toilet paper after you are done.
