a few days ago i met a local girl at a definite "gringo bar" that was playing american football and full of westerners. she approached me and we immediately began dancing. later that night we made out but nothing sexual. she added me on facebook, where i learned she has a K*D. since then she has been messaging me a lot, and has explicitly said that she wants to meet up on the beach for sex. i cannot tell if this is typical of girls here, or is she a sex worker looking to get me to pay at the last second, or something. should i just go for it

note: i met another american man there who said that he heard people at the bar paid her to sit and drink with them. i didn't do anything close to that, and according to her facebook she is a receptionist at a hotel

i can tell you're trying to be condescending, but i have no idea what you're implying. i don't want to risk std's because i can get laid pretty easily at home. is this girl legitimate and they just are easy here, or am i just being a naieve american

If you go the the beach for sex, make sure that the beach is crowded. Otherwise, the unknown chica (and her amigos) could put you in a shallow grave as quickly as you blink.

now that i think of it, you're right. i was out of line. i've bought girlfriends gifts and shit that probably totals as much as you guys. i apologize, it was just a little agitating to get such sarcastic replies from the first few guys.

Meet her again, at a public place. Continue contact, but not on her terms completely. Eventually, get another hotel room, at a love motel, and meet her there. You set the time and place, but only let her know the place at the last minute. If it is a set up, she will balk. If it is not, she is into you.

To avoid the red flags, suggest that she show how talented her hands are in a dark corner of the bar. If you're lucky, she'll also be curious about your hands.

That way, you'll soon find out if she's "working" . And if she is, it shouldn't be too expensive or risky.

If she's game AND wonderful, remember her name and number ------ then post it. LOL.

What was the name of the bar where you met, or if you don't know the name, where was it in Quepos, or describe it and I may have your answer.
