General (or in fact could be a very stupid question)...

if you can have sex in the MP for 35 @ HLH and its ~60 at DR, why would people ever go to DR?

I ask because it seems that the girl quality is good (or the same) at both places.

Simply put the MP scene and the Independent scene are two different beasts. Sure the end result is sex, but some prefer one type of venue over the other. Also there is more room for negotiations with a Del Ray girl as far price for time vs a mp where it is set price per hour plus a tip if you feel like giving one. However there is no distinct difference in quality based on price alone. Also it comes down to overall selection, the Del Rey has a lot more girls to choose from than any MP.

You will be picking one out of 15 at HLH where as at DR it is one out of 100 or more depends on the day. If you are visiting just couple of days, then HLH is better option. But if you are on a week or more vacation, then you will soon run out of options at HLH as obviously u dont want to keep phucking the same chicas every day. And more over, after 9 PM, you have no MP scene anyway. Either SL until 12 midnight and then DR

Very well said - some guys hate MP's, others like them.

Your comments were spot on; however know that while the HDR tends to have a good selection of "talent" it also attracts the hardest of the hard core - you can also (sometimes on the QT ) negociate for an MP girl to come to your room; many hat the rooms at most MP's - figure on $40 - 60 for that. Also, if you are looking for independents, don't over look the Sportsman's - not as many as HDR, but a better atmosphere (I hate the HDR for many reasons, but am the 1st to admit it has its usage and "charms" )

The DR doesnt necessarily attract the hardest of the hardcore as much as they don't work for the hotel, ergo no "mp boss" ergo they look at a guy who otherwise may never have a shot with her **and treat him accordingly**

The MP scene is somewhat sanctioned so chances of things going right or better is greater albeit a jiffy lube service. Generally speaking, I say guys who don't know spanish, or don't have a way with women, newbies, should/do gravitate to MP's. With the indy's, the session takes place in your room and they are their own boss..which can be a good thing, or very bad thing..

We will have to agree to disagree re your first paragraph (Colombiana's famous for beauty, also for high pricing and rushed service - also even ugly fat ones start at cien; not an opinion formed by reading; seen this over the years) - and I don't know if its a "boss" as much as fixed pricing at the MP's that keep the girls in line - we are still friends

Yes the Colombiana's do have that rep because #1. generally they are the best looking ones in there (which IS currency in CR p4p btw) #2 They aren't as tolerant to negotiate because most (if not all of them) can barely stand to do most mongers even for a hundo and don't hide it well. i.e. drastic over pricing etc.. and not giving a fugg if u say no and she goes home with nothing.

It's not the colombiana making them "hardcore", it's human nature.. that's the best cliff version I can give. I'm not tryna get all deep or exclussively make this post for you. Its just there's a shit ton of false pretenses on this board and every once in a while guys should hear things that maybe they don't wanna hear. That's where usually I come in but, in general itsa losing battle.

When am I going to learn no threesomes. I was all set to head to HLH today for my first time and I coudln't get out of the damn HDR. OK I got the names committed to memory. Actually I'm staying here at the HDR and will look into staying at the HLH for the next 3 nights.

I don't have a problem with what you wrote Cuj' - and not trying to be purposely contentious - but my point in my previous post was you see more of the hardcore (despite your good definition and explanation ) at the HDR than other places - I used Colombiania's as an example, but could just as easily used the silicone "ice princesses" - et al.

Regardless of reasons (and you well may be correct in what you wrote; makes sense to me), I'll stand by my simple statement that <regardless of reasons, philosophy, human nature> you get the hardest of the hard core in the HDR vs other venues in San Jose - that's all; my opinion, formed over 15 years and 40+++ trips No reference was made as to the "why"
