1. Any update on the current line-up of chicas at HLH?
Can change daily, even hourly. Don't worry, you will always be outnumbered, and if you don't like the line-up, there are other venues within walking distance.
2. Besides the mongering, what other activities are there in the San Jose area that you would recommend.
Work out, eat vegetables (like tomatoes) that don't taste like shredded vegetables (i.e. they were grown in dark, rich volcanic soil, and not a factory farm that is only one step above hydroponics), meet locals and expats you would never have met back home, take long walks with a wingman, try the Asian food at Ting Ho or Peruvian seafood at the "soda" across the street, go shopping in the walking plaza...
5. There are many mixed reports on walking around HLH, SL etc. Is it safe?
It is like most parts of Manhattan. Daytime, OK. If normal locals are out and about during the work hours (7am-7pm) you are OK. Dusk, not so good. Nighttime....I would not do it unless I was armed, had one or two wingmen and/or your last fist fight was NOT in grade school. Personally, I will occassionally do it but I have moderate skills, good street sense, walk real fast, and armed most of the time.
6. After hotel costs, what would be a realistic daily budget for chicas, drinks, food ?
Depends what you like to eat and how much, how much you drink, and what kind of chicas you like/how much you want to pay them. These are really three different budgets. You can eat well for less than $20 a day. You can pay $35 and tip $15 and have two HLH chicas a day, or spend $60-100 on some Del Rey or SL independent, or you can pay a lot less at one of the day time MPs. Up to you.
Think of it this way: If you have a steady job in the states and you aren't stupid with your money, you will always replace the money you spend in SJO. However, you only get one chance to have a day/night full of good experiences every day. You will never replace that day, or the memory of a less-than-memorable experience. In the future, you will not regret not having the money, but you will regret not having the best experiences you could have. The memories/photos/videos of that rock-your-world, squirrels-on-crack, eyes-rolling-into-the-back-of-your-head sexual experience are priceless.
7. I am only looking for the GFE type ladies. Is it proper etiquette to ask for this when I meet a chica ??
Communication and empathy. Does she speak English? Do you speak Spanish? Can you establish empathy? (They call it being 'simpatico') Talk, make her laugh, answer her basic concerns: Is this guy cheap/disgusting/creepy? Can you make that human connection before you hit the sheets? If not, is she professional enough and a good enough actress to fake it? Are you so physically repulsive that she can't stand the dirt under you fingernails, the onion in your breath, your double/triple chin, and your attempts to hide your BO with too much cheap cologne?
