Post subject:  More questions from a newbie

Hey Guys,

I'm been lurking here for a couple of months and I'm finally ready. I've read Orange's newbie thread and learned a lot of stuff going back to 2006-2007. I'm going to be staying at the SL from 5/7-5/14. Traveling solo. This time also coincides with my 39th birthday which I plan to celebrate with a threesome(never had one before). I've got a couple of questions though that haven't been addressed from what I've seen on the board.

1. Is it customary for me during negotiation to buy the chica a drink? I ask because many of you state that you do so in your writings. I'm not keen on this because my "game" here in the states usually doesn't involve buying drinks for gringas; especially if I know they aren't going to "put out." I have to be careful with alcohol because I want to be fully in the moment, if you catch my drift. I'm not cheap but it doesn't make sense for me to buy a chica a rum&coke when I fully plan on getting with her 5 minutes later. Besides that I'm going to pick up a couple of drinks from the duty free for my room anyway so...

2. On the subject of chicas; what if I just want to eat/drink at the bar/table and not be bothered for a little while? I need to recharge at some point, right? I can only imagine having a burger for lunch and having to tell a chica "not now" while I'm eating. Is this an issue in the gulch or am I over thinking it?

3. If I wanted to dance and just hang out before making my "selection" at the Key Largo can I do that or does the pressure to get my TLN for the evening begin as soon as I get through the door? Honestly, I want to dance with some of these girls for a minute to see how their body moves and get a sense of their sexual energy. I fear that just saying "hi" to them means that I'm going to have to pay them for their "time."

4. Finally, can someone give me the lowdown on the Dominican chicas? I love the fact that I can get all most all of Latin America in one place! That said, I plan to pillage the "Dominion" in the evenings. Pardon my tastes but I'm a black guy and it just turns me on that Dominican women look like black women here in the States but appear to have none of the "attitude" that I see in my neck of the woods

Thanks for any info you guys can provide!

you are way over thinking it
the girls at SL aren't going to bother you unless you make a lot of eye contact
at key largo they are a bit more aggressive imo
my first trip i met a girl and danced w here a couple of songs but she kept wanting to stop. so i started dancing w other girls that were coming up to me as i was leaving the dance floor. this didn't go over to well and i found myself being told not to dance w other girls blah blah and i said i think there is a problem she should go.
she said she wanted to be paid for her time and i said no way but flipped her 20 since she had been hanging out for a couple of hours. she took it and left w a loud PHUCK YOU.
so maybe asking te gusta solo bailar or something of the sort would save an uncomfortable moment w a woman that thinks she is the date for the night fwiw.
the drink thing buys you a moment to interview while showing you have interest. idk but being perceived as cheap can change the mood. the girls drinks are no more expensive than ours.
good luck

Gotta agree with the above; sorry, you are, but as an American you are acting as our culuture has instructed us - be polite, don't cause offense, et al -

So, you are acting way too "American" - remember, you call the shots in Costa Rica, and while I never advocate anyone being an ass, I also don't say you have to proceed with such an abundance of caution that you are overly worried over offending hookers

You really don't have to pay them for their "time" especially if you are dancing but I always think a little up front honesty is welcomed "Look, I'm not wanting company tonight, but if you want to dance and have a few drinks, thats fine"

You are under no obligation to buy random girls, especially those you have zero interest in (and ther friend(s)) drinks. A simple "No" always works) - Especially after they have asked you the time honored questions:
Bacation?
U firs' time baby
Where u stay, baby
I wait for you baby
Won drink fo me baby

So f.u.c.king annoying - especially the over use of the word "baby"

Take no personal offense at my next comment, but Jesus, what a phucked up society we are when so many of us are so worried about giving offense to hookers (which is the 'theme' of your post, basically - and so many of us were the same way :) ) :( .

Let me make a suggestion - a private tour would be great - use the PM function to contact Bilko and see what you guys can arrainge.

So you like Dominicanas, huh....well the good new is there are often many in San Jose - so with any luck you should be looking into more black holes than the Mount Palomar Obsevatory, before you can say "Yo Mama"  :P

Scuba1 that was hilarious albeit accurate. It takes a day or two to acclimate.

Something you should be aware of especially at SL where girls could be laid back is that a girl may sit with you and if you buy her drinks and food she may be hoping to tempt you to take her to your room. If you are not going to do that let her know so she has the option to leave you if she sees another customer. Remember she is there to make money and she would appreciate knowing if you have designs on her. Other wise she may spend time and though you buy her drinks and food that does not put money in her wallet.
So be considerate and let her know your intentions so she can decide to hangout or leave you.

I think I'm funny as hell too - but thanks! :)

(If you read my posts, most of them contain truths learned over the past 15 years - and I love to use humor - and maybe a little sarcasm  :P  - to express them :) - do have to say that the "Mount Palomar" reference was a classic!!!) :P

I find the easiest was to get rid of girl is to tell her she's beautiful but I just finished having sex .

That is good advice from the CRT answer man

But I always end in bed with her :D

Key Largo must spray shit in the air to make that happen :D

Besides that I'm going to pick up a couple of drinks from the duty free for my room anyway so... NOT customary, it's a personal choice. It's a good $5 investment if you are interested in somebody. I would not buy a drink for somebody you have no interest.

Once they come to CR, their attitudes change. Just like Colombians. But even then, they are still better than most gringas.

Kinda like they accused the casinos in the old days of pumping pure oxygen late at night to "energize" the gamblers - I suspect the KL uses their own "mix" based upon your post and experiences  :P  :)

None taken Scuba, that's why I'm here after all.

I hope you guys realize how awesome this mongering stuff really is. I say that because there is so much crap you gotta deal with in the States if you wanna just get some tail. The cloak & dagger, law enforcement, outcall vs. incall, and most importantly the bait and switch. It's a huge risk both on a personal level and your wallet. It's discussed constantly here on the board whether one should/should not pay "cien." In my neck of the woods cien won't even get you a cbj. Talk about a mood killer. I could care less about offending a hooker but when you have to constantly look over your shoulder for the risks in the U.S. you learn quickly to keep a low profile and bug out. I need only to point out the Secret Service's recent fiasco over $47 and the media/societal condemnation of it to make my point. Our culture despises men and their sexual proclivities. That's why I'm down for CR now and Sosua later in the year for a great time. To hell with them.
