I had to LOL when I see the sign "Todo a 500" at the 40 second mark. I always wonder if the Tica's worry about the exchange rate and if Gringo's are getting a few colones bargin in the USA's "Everything's a Dollar."

This video was perfect! Now I understand how the people dress and interact. Now I understand why some of the guys here say wearing shorts makes you standout. After doing so much research on this board it's all starting to come together. I'm really looking forward to my trip next month. Thanks.

Exactly! :lol: The appeal of San Jose is the bars and hookers, which is why just about every travel book about CR says to spend no more than a day in the city or better yet get out of there as soon as possible. :D
