Hi All,

I will be making my first trip to San Jose in May. As a new CRT member, I have read through many posts to get some great advice and bask in the many experiences you guys have enjoyed. One activity I have not read anything about are experiences about group parties, involving partner swapping and orgies. As someone active in the swinging community here at home, this kind of activity has appeal to me. Does this happen with any frequency in San Jose, and if so, how can one best find such get togethers?

Thanks,
Aldrich317

I prefer the one penis in the room party and that penis is mine.

But, out of cultural curiosity, what kind of "swinging" are you talking about? I thought partner swapping was - well if you have a partner, you swap. If you come to CR alone, then are you talking about sharing girls you picked up as opposed to showing up with your girlfriend/wife and "swinging" with a monger and his prey for the night?

Somehow I would think the taboo of "swinging" in the USA is part of its allure, but in CR I am not sure how that would be exciting.

To answer your question, partially, every trip I am offered the doubles where two chicas, presumably that are friends, want to share the wealth and both earn while they burn. I only did this once and that was because we were all having such a good time laughing and joking that I thought the three of us would have fun. Sexually, it was boring. While I was "in-volved" with one, the other sneaked over to the mini-bar and started pigging out.

For some reason, I keep forgetting to hide that damm mini-bar tray and they always ask me if they can have whatever AFTER they've opened it and started munching. I never can understand why they love to score on the mini-bar. Do they really not spend the money to buy a snicker's bar and find it such a treat to eat from the mini-bar? That said, if you do have an orgy, hide the mini-bar tray. Either that, go to Mas-o-Menos and stock-up on snacks since you all will be working up an appetite.

Don't forget to send thank-you notes the next day.

To bring you all up to date on the Swingers scene in San José, Costa Rica. There is Pareja Total which is housed near the Amistad Hotel in an old house. It is primarily frequented by Tico couples with the occassional tourist couple or tourist with local girl in tow showing up. Cost is 15,000 colones just to walk in the door and all drinks are extra, and no real food is available if you get the munchies! it is an older home with a new coat of paint and some interesting graphics on the wall with some playrooms and a tiny bar tucked in a small room and a small dance floor area. The couples and single women nights are on Fridays and Saturdays, no single men allowed and bringing a working girl is frowned upon (if you bring one at least try to pick one who does not blatantly look the part). A new alternative is coming (pardon the pun) on the scene as a Private Members Club at the Hotel Mona Lisa called Club Taboo - which will open in the next couple of weeks and offer playrooms, an elegant atmosphere and room to dance, and watch all the action. A good size bar onsite and the availability of all the restaurants Menu offers. Couples admission will be cheaper than the Pareja Total venue and include 4 free beers or well drinks as well. If any of you are interested in attending or have questions leave a message on Facebook at the club page which is Club Taboo Costa Rica. Complete Hotel and meal packages are available for all out of town visitors, again just visit the FB page. :)

As a long time swinger and naturalist in the USA I can tell you, and as a swinger you should already know, the vast majority of North American men are extremely homophobic and not about to be in the room a]with another C*ck swinging around. And certainly not going to do anything that might involve touching another naked male, even if it is just touching an arm or leg. I have found this to be even more so the case among mongers. At the risk of upsetting some of the super machos, in many cases (according to Doctors) this is because of deep rooted uncertainty of their own sexuality. And there is the moral/ cultural attitude in the USA that brain washes most into thinking it is "wrong"/ "un-natural"/ "disgusting", just as it has with anything having to do with sex!!!!!

As mentioned above there is the one place across the street from the Amistad. Everything Ticoman said is more or less correct. I have known several Gringos who have taken a working chica there and not been pleased with the outcome. It is mostly Ticos and though Gringos are welcome, it is not with open arms especially if you are with an obvious puta. Taking a "regular' chica (or one that totally appears to be) and going with a Tico couple is another story.

In the last few years there have been two other places but both have closed. One still exists as a private swingers club but is not open to anyone but the "small" group of Tico members, and is very "underground" !!!

I recently heard that the Cococabana Hotel in Jaco is clothing optional and has one pool that is nude only and that they are trying to have swingers parties. Have a friend that is there right now with his "favorite" checking it out!!

All this said, over the last 9-10 years living here I have found a few "like minded" mongers for group parties (I think it is now 8 guys in 10 years). And before anyone asks, NO, there was never any "gay" activity - lesbian, YES!!! I have from time to time heard of a few other "parties", especially among some of the younger more open minded guys!!

All this said, it is possible to find others interested in group "parties" but not easy.

Ah, ha!
That explains the loud music coming from a non-descript house and cars parked along both sides of the street on Saturday, Nov. 1st as I walked from Sportsmen's Lodge back to La Amistad.
