There is a salon around the corner from HLH that has tanning beds. I saw it when walking around looking for somewhere to buy deodorant. Might be worth checking out, if I recall when you go you the door of HLH turn left, up then right on 7th ave and it will be up a block or two near on the left. Im going off borderline drunken memory so don't quote me on it

If you want natural sun (assuming it is out that day) check out Hotel San Tomas. Very small pool area but with a slide! and lounge chairs. Often gringas sunning themselves there. Maybe you could do OK with the gringas, but I prefer CR chicas. |

I'm looking for a natural sun destination, i.e. somewhere to relax and have a drink, either poolside, lakeside, park or outdoor cafe setting, as I understand the beach is a couple of hours away. Thanks. |

One option is the balcony rooms on the top floor of the historic Hotel Del Rey. |
