I'm the Best Man of my best friend's wedding and we are in the planning stages of the bachelor party to be done in late June. (Wedding is in October). I'm planing to go to the CR in the next couple of weeks to check it out. What do some of you Vets recommend? I'm thinking 10 guys will be on the trip and we would need just as many girls. Hopefully somewhere that doesn't mind a lot of noise.

Highly recommended. Of all the monger-friendly gulch hotels, the suites at HLH are probably the most luxurious rooms.

What a great idea - PM Boyd to discuss - if you are looking for a long weekend and you want to, well you know.....its a great option.

"Managing" 10 - 20 guys is like herding cats, and HLH is a great option. If guys want to get away, they can always go on a day trip to either Jaco (for the beach) or Arenal (for the volcano and the hot springs) - but I suspect once they get to HLH and perhaps see what sights are available in good 'ole San Jose - they never leave.

PS There are plenty of much more beautiful places in Costa Rica (have you hear of Punteranas - kidding, kidding    ) - problem is if you want a place with girls for a rocking Bachelor Party vs beautiful scenery, beaches, hiking, et at - San Jose is hands down the best choice.
(You wanna see a bunch of phucking monkeys, go to the zoo in your home town - you wanna Phuck and watch the future groom get his C*ck sucked in front of all his friends....come to San Jose  :P  )

i agree with the guys above, HLH is a great base camp, with beautiful friendly girls, close to many other fun houses like HDR, KL, SL and NF to name a few!

Depends on how long you are staying and what your budget is. Last one I did we went all out and stayed in Jaco at Casa Ponte. Talk about a great place and time. But it does cost. There are other places in Jaco that are real nice from houses to condos. I prefer Jaco to San Jose just becuase I actually like to fish, lol.

There was a group for a bachelor party this weekend and they all had a blast at HLH.
