Never been to SJ, so would appreciate some suggestions on hotels to stay at. I'm a new CRT VIP member so obviously I would prefer to go with one that offers a CRT discount but don't have to if there's a better option.

My main goal is choosing a hotel that has the hottest ticas and being able to bring them back to my room. Price range about $100 per night. I've heard the DR is good for Ticas but the hotel accomodations are horrible.

Personally I like the looks of the Sportsmen's Lodge but would love to hear some recommendations.

Also - you do know (or you do now

) that "Tica" just means Costa Rican female - it does not mean prostitute - DON'T USE THE TERMS INTERCHANGEABLY (Seriously, this can get you into trouble if a Costa Rican hears you doing so; plus it shows you don't know what you are talking about, and its an easy form of "preventable stupidity" - plus a real peeve of mine, in case you could not tell

You are correct the "T" in CRT does insenuate that Tica means hottie for a price.

Thanks Zun, also I just found out the SL is offering 20% discounts instead of 10% now for CRT VIP members so seems like a no brainer.

Sportsmans, Hotel Little Havana far better, IMO - as you are new, I'd give the edge to the Sportsmans.

If you want the conveniance of chicas at the venue then the Delrey, Sportsman Lodge, Hotel Little Havana HLH are the most known quantities for that type of property.

Welcome to CRT - you pretty much have it - Zunbake summed it up well - my dos colonies: I never recommend the HDR - accomodations suck, IMO, although I vacelate between saying everyone should stay there once, then I say "why?" - although given the choice between not going to CR and staying at the HDR, I'd stay there - they (suposedly) have a $55/night promotion, but know the rooms are basic and there is a lot that annoys me about the place. Nah, just kidding w/ you Its all a learning process, and with the great attitude you seem to have, it will be easy There are 2 guys on this board who live in San Jose and give tours - choose one and take the tour: Bilko - name he posts under; just do a search under his name and PM him and tell him you want a tour - great guy Another guy also excellent is "pops" http://www.popstour.com Both charge a modest fee (plus a blow job ) and will have you feeling like a "Tico" in no time!

It can be difficult or even impossible to get a room at the sportsman. The Del Rey is overpriced and the 10 dollar fee is lame but they do keep the girls ID while she is upstairs with you. This helps minimize potential issues like theft etc. It is also nice if for some reason you don't like your girl once you get to the room it's 30 seconds and your back in the thick of it. The food is pretty decent and it is 24/7 for the bar and restaurant. If you get up at 6 am and want to lose a nut there is always some skank ready to take your money. They are cheaper in the am too. There are some girls who only work during the day. I know of a few who show up there like they are showing up to a regular job every day at the same time. I guess it is all what you are looking for. I like the balcony room on the 6th floor of the Rey, but they can be hard to get too. But the sportsman is the best deal if you can get a room. Avoid Christmas, the only girls there are straight out of a mental institution. Seriously one flew over the coo coo nest types.

HLH is an excellent choice. It is a good way to start your day . Getting the rust out of your pipes and then stroll to the sportsman in the late afternoon for Independents. Later in the evening go to Hotel Del Rey to check out the action. The Key Largo a dancing venue is across the street and the girls from Del Rey who like to dance will be working it also. You have heard the saying "Morning ,Noon and Night" that is the way you select your girls. Three a day makes for a pleasant trip. Doing it that way makes it easy to find the right girl for you if you want a TLN . Learn how to say "Next" that is very important

I haven't stayed ago HLH, but I have been there and can attest that it's very nice. Sportsmen's is my Costa Rican home away from home, I love everyone there, so very friendly and home-like. Kinda of like having a bedroom at Cheers.... but with tons of hot ladies!
