The "death march" brings back many interesting thoughts.
El Silencio took the lead in walking from where ever we were with a "It's not that far, let's walk".

So we did. Being the old f*ck of the group they left me behind as the sacrificial lamb. Besides I was sh*t faced and couldn't walk in a straight line. It was pretty amazing though. We were like a gang coming into town in the old west. People were going behind doors, a peering out through windows, wondering what the phuck were these stupid Gringo's walking, in that part of town, at that time of night. Being last was not so bad, since they had to turn around and come back towards me to go the right way. So much for the "brotherhood" watching out for the old man's a**. I felt like the Wilda beast that the Lions had surrounded. Leave the old one in the rear, and maybe they won't attack the others.

That was a night to remember.
Anyway, Le Grillion was my favorite place, other than the SL. Hot women who for the most part were Nica's (my favortia's), great owner, good service from the waiters, and never a rip-off. I would go alone, but always take a cab.
I don't think that this was the night of Spanky's "There was no Passion" three minute session, which lives on today, but another great memorty of Le Grillion.
Health & happiness to all.............
