Guys,
A dear friend of mine Juan Carlos is the new Operations Manager at Hotel M. He has told me he will do whatever it takes to fill the rooms. If the hotel is not booked, you have a great chance of getting a room for special price.(Edited) The rooms are nicer than the Presedente Hotel.

You can bring your own girls if you like.

Give Juan Carlos a call on their 800 number. He will take care of all your needs with transportation also. Hotel M is a 5 minute cab ride from the Gulch. It is a few blocks from the Mall and University.

If you ever catch a party there. Wow.

A super nice hotel, but it will need the $69 chicas to go with the $69 rooms. My pension checks won't quite cover the p4p at this place. :roll:

Interesting first post. I'll be giving JC a call tomorrow to confirm those $69 rates, thanks for posting.

This is JC's third stint as the Hotel M manager, he is indeed a good guy who is very committed to customer service. I hope he can turn M around.

P.S. $400 chicas at M? They must have seen you coming. :)

I been saying for years ....what was the deal for the rooms there going for $200 (its like the hooker who tries to charge you $200 and no one takes her ...she goes home with nothing ....why not charge $75 and go home with $225) same as that place ...charge $200 and the place is empty ....make a fair price of $69 and the place will fill up ....location isn't the greatest but ...its near the mall and taxi is only a few dollars more than a taxi to the sportmens

or just plain logic ..... took them long enough that to see that people just wont pay that price ...hope it works for them (but you can still pay them $200 a night )

Nope, just male gringo logic, buddy. You know this topic has been beaten to death on CRT - in fact, I seem to remember discussing it with you and others at the SL back bar.

The consensus seems to be we shouldn't assume most chicas (or tico business owners for that matter) operate from the same base assumptions we do.

Yep. The gringo logic in a slow period is to lower prices and try to make up the revenue in volume. The Tico/Tica logic is to raise the price when business is slow to make up the revenue. :lol:

This actually happens here in the States, too. Especially with Miami strippers and clubs. It probably has something to do with the fact many of the providers here are Latinas and the clubs are run by idiots.

Case in point - a very popular stripper at a local club got suspended even though she was generating tons of room and bottle fees for a club. Why? Because she undercut the other strippers and they complained to management.
