Your pretty much screwed, with very little hope..

You don't get any bigger Catholic holidays than Semana Santa 4/16-24. I am usually on a plane the day after tax season, but holding off a couple weeks this year..

I would change my dates I am sure you might see a few girls around, but certainly won't be a "buyers" market

Gentlemen,

Rules/Laws might of changed regarding dry days. But will advise later. There are fewer women around non the less during this weekend mentioned.

I made the mistake of coming to San Jose over Easter weekend last year. If you change your reservations without too much expense I would suggest it as the available talent will be less for sure, but if you are stuck with this trip don't fret as it won't be completely dead in the gulch. IMHO Christmas/New Years is a far worse time to be looking for action in San Jose than Good Friday/Easter. Good luck!

Where are you going in San Jose for a $6 steak???? My dining experience in Costa Rica is the quality of the steaks are shit. I can only imagine how bad a $6 steak is in San Jose. Please share if you have a place that has good steaks.

One thing tho i found in CR is the service sucks. dont tell me i cant get fat during my stay, ahhh i got to turn this into a positive somehow. kicking kicking kicking.

...as for the beer.....just stock up on your own private supply for your room 'fridge. No big deal.

Hey,
so I am looking to book a trip around easter and based on what I have read I am a little worried. what dates exactly do things shut down for easter? Is it the 18-25? or the 22-29?? basically i am looking to go from the 15-22 and wondering if i will be affected by Easter. I understand that Thursday the 21st and Friday the 22nd will affected but what about mon-weds?

Don't trust that travel calendar because I think it is wrong. Easter in Costa Rica falls on the same day as Easter in the United States.
