yes it will work but remember that the sim card must be mini. ICE may be able to cut their sim for you, assuming you want to go prepago with them.

1more thing: I'll be in CR til end of the month, I wanna use my iphone for uploading pics, email, text freely...what kind of prepaid plans does ICE have or how much do you all suggest i buy?

Just make sure you are in a wifi location and it will be no cost.

ICE has up to a 1000 minutes (I think). They have 3 tiers. How often do you come down? ICE just put in a new policy that lets you keep your minutes for an extended time. They used to expire in 30/60 days I think. I have a regular post pay line with them so I'm not totally up-to-speed on prepago.

**Also note that ICE now offers internet access on prepago. You can text ICE and pay for an hour, day, week or month worth of internet access. You'll need to get the text codes from ICE to order the feature. If you don't get this, the only way you can check email, etc is via wifi.
