Hi Folks,

Me and four other guys are going to Jaco next week. We've been partying (mongering?) together for 15 years, but this will be our first time in Costa Rica. BTW: Awesome work on this forum guys! I've been reading it for a few hours.. and it's my new second favorite (after http://www.merb.ca). Anyways.. I still have some questions. Can I ask for advice?

To "set the stage"... We are five American guys in our 40's going to Jaco for 4 nights on a fishing trip, first time. We have a nice condo and are planning to have a 4 night "bachelor party" experience. I'm happy to post trip reports. Anyways here are my questions..

1. We are not into the bar scene. We WILL check out Le Loft and Beetle Bar.. but we'd prefer to party in the condo, day and night. We'd like to call in girls, many girls per night. Can this be arranged? How do we set this up? Does one of us have to troll bars all night?

2. We want 9's and 10's and are willing to pay for it... We won't ruin the market, we read the forums, we know what to pay.. but we want hot girls. How can we do this without trolling bars all night?

3. We hear it's the off season: Do we need to ship girls in from San Jose? If we do.. can we get rid of them if we don't like them? Where are they going to stay if we boot them?

4. Personal Assistant: We would like a PA to help translate, get us up in the morning to go fishing, serve drinks, light cigars, prep food, run errands for us, find and deal with the girls. For four days. Preferably a hot young female, although sex is not a requirement for her, but brains are and she should be able to handle the Tica's. How do we find this girl?

If it was just me... I'd be fine. But with 5 guys it's a bigger operation. I want to make sure this "once in a lifetime" trip is exactly that for all of us. In short... how should we go about this?

I think you are starting your plan late......the advice I can give ....number 1 don't even think about bringing girls with you ...that has zero chance of working out #2 there are girls who work at sportmens and D.R. that have sisters that go or stay in jaco ....#3 if I had to do it .....I would hit the bars and maybe make day 1 to do a hunt (it sounds like you have some game in the pay for play world) #4 like anything in san jose everything is hit and miss #5 Phuck jaco I hate the place ....why not just fish one day and use the rest of the time in san jose and have a blast ...

Setting up late you can expect at least a few screw jobs , by girls or touts who are trying to tell you they have what you need ....but you may get lucky and find girls who are up to your plan but I doubt it ...5 guys 5 different views of what is hot or what is a good price ....

Keep in mind ...they think we all have $1000"s just sitting in our pockets ready to piss away ....

It sounds like fishing is a big part of this trip ....just reading resent posts a few members got ripped off by a captain that was approved by our site...so buyer beware ...

I hate Jaco and it would be the last place I would go with 5 buddy's to have a once in a lifetime trip....you might get that trip....but not the way you are thinking....good luck and please post

Chilimike is right - it is late to start planning but not too late. Lot's of ways to make this a decent trip - your best bet would be to find a kind soul like Esposodebarbie who has done some recent exploration there and actually could arrange a few chicas and transport (if he is willing = might PM him and ask). Second choice is to pay someone for the assistance you are looking for - I could only recomend Scott (email at wataguy4@aol.com ). I have no idea what he would charge on top of costs - but if you give him a budget - could arrange transport, great looking fine chicas, and probably whatever else you want.

If it were me, I would go to the beetle bar and bring em back 10 at time and kick out the ones you that don't seem to be adding to the party. send you spanish speakers to negotiate.

Chilimike: Thanks for the feedback. Jaco as our destination has been a concern.. but fishing IS a big part of our trip and Jaco was a better alibi than San Jose when we set this up... maybe we didn't know better... but we have an awesome pad already paid for so are locked and loaded.

So it sounds like "best practice" for Jaco is to find and drag them out "en mass" from the Beatle bar. That brings up a few more questions...

1. Is it realistic to pull 10 or even 5 out at a time? Reading the forums it sounds like that might be tough this time of year, especially on a Wed or Thursday night? Maybe we need to have three guys at Beatle, two guys at Le Loft, etc... (having never been I have no idea..)

2. Will they come back with us just to party? Or will they need a guarantee. I mean I can negotiate the deal and speak for myself, but I can't guarantee that when they arrive the other guys will like them. They might walk away empty handed. So will they still show up?

3. Maybe we should set up a "dance contest" or some such gimmick, and pay them $20 per hour to come to the condo and party, then leave the rest up to them? If we offer $20 to any (hot) chica per hour just to dance, can we fill our condo?

4. If we start playing "Survivor", bringing new girls and casting the old ones out.. will we run into ego issues from the girls tossed off the island? Or do the girls expect this sort of thing, if positioned appropriately. If no one wants to have sex with them, they will probably get it and just leave? But one of us will have to be the bouncer I suppose... I guess there is not really a question here just a comment

5. What's the best way to get in touch with the girls we like on day 2, 3, 4? I've read here that you don't need cell phones, but am willing to get the SIM at the airport if it will help. Or do you just tell them to meet us somewhere

6. Should we have a car on call for ferrying all these girls? Split five ways, a cost like this is not a big deal.. (but again we'll need a local cell phone)

7. We have a "broker" who helped set some of this up, and he can send five girls in for us the first night. Is this a scam? I'm not reading anywhere that it's done this way.

8. I could use advice on finding a PA - is there a local paper? Or shoudl we just tell the girls we want one of them to be a waitress for $10/hr or something? Don Rico - I will check with the guys you mentioned on this subject.

9. Just to confirm.. so we should not try and get a shuttle full of girls from San Jose? Our concern is we won't be able to get rid of them..

If there's only 5 of you, why not go to BB together, find 5 you like and go back to the condo and party. They are looking for work, not to party. If the party is part of the work, they will be down. But just to party, not so much. THE KEY TO SUCCESS IN YOUR PLAN IS TO BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN TO THE CHICAS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, THAT IT'S KIND OF AN AUDITION FOR A SESSION(S) FOR 3-4 DAYS. IF YOU MENTION THAT THE GOOD GIRLS WILL HAVE SESSIONS LINED UP FOR 4 DAYS, THAT MAY BE THE INCENTIVE THEY NEED. But many are so short-sighted, they won't care and still won't come. This is the mind of the chica.

Another issue may be distance. How far from the Beatle Bar is the condo? The farther it is, the harder it will be to get chicas to come without a guaranteed payday.

Make sure that you guys take preventive measures to "hooker proof" your rooms, especially since you probably will not have room safes. I have heard of many ripoffs down in Jaco and with 5 guys, you have the potential to be a good target for hookers looking to lift loose wallets and watches.

Damn good advice on chica-proofing the room! You are going to have a great time.

If you want to seriously have the best chance at catching some big fish use these guys!

On average they catch more fish than anyone else.
Their secret is their custom made Maverick boats.
The Fly boats always do very well and frequently win the billfish tournaments in Los Suenos.

Call them ASAP as they book way in advance.

It is the rainy season/slow season so you may get lucky a find they have availability.

They will allow you to bring girls on the boat too.
However I would recommend against bringing girls on all day fishing trip.
It just doesn't seem to work at well.

If your serious about fishing focus on fishing during the day.

When your done fishing focus on pu*sy.

Bringing girls on the boat is way to much of a distraction and problematic.

The crews lose all motivation to take fishing seriously when naked girls are running around the boat.

The boats are at Los Suenos about 10mins or so from Jaco.

Hope you give us a trip report when you get back.

I myself have made the same trip you describe many times.

First and foremost

TB is 1000% correct, Make certain your rooms are completely secure. Even when its one on one it is hard to watch everything that is going on. Throw in two or three extras each and Bam, 20 plus poeple, thats a party no one can keep 100% under control. When those not being selected see it, it will be more likely to take their pound of flesh, so to speak. And there is no way any group of laughing, parting guys could keep track of all of them.

Second

The “Condo” your staying at is going to determine if your even going to be able to have 20 plus people in it. Honestly for this type of trip you might want to consider renting one of the private homes in Los Suenos. They are some that are just great for what you describe. Private house = Private pool = tons of fun. Been there and done that!!!!!!

If your in one of thier condo's start dailing back the party before you even get there....

Third

Finding girls and not wanting to do the bar scene is still easy. (but you have to be willing to enter a bar) You don’t have to hang out in the Beetle. Walk in anytime after dark, spend 15 minutes. Find what you like and leave. You don’t need to even have to buy a drink, although I think there is some small cover from time to time. Most importantly arrange what you want ofr the next day the night before. 5 during the day, that are hot, is a tall order.

Forth

The “Boot lick” good idea. I have also done that, but had better luck with a guy. There are many mini van guys that will drive you, have their van there, at your beck and call, and be your grunt for a little extra fee/propina. Almost any of the Del Rey drivers do this. I think it was under $200 a 24 hour day the last time I did this. For the driver and the van. Have one of the Honey’s light your cigar and make you a drink. There are other missions a guy is just better for you at.

Enjoy, I know I would.

Not certain how bringing Chicas on a boat that already has 5 guys on it? Unless your dropping some big coin on a yacht, I think 6 is the max for most of the fishing boats. But, others would know a lot more than me on this.

Guys, A belated follow up,.. here are some random comments:

- I had no idea how many girls were at the Beetle bar. On a rainy weeknight in 'october, we were practically the only guys in there, and there must have been over 100 girls, and of better quality than I thought. THey literally surrounded us and we had to fight them off. It was like that every night.
- Looking back on the planning, how naive we were to think we had to bring our own girls, or try to get someone to help find them.
- Every night, we basically loaded a few cabs with chicas and brought the party back to our place. A couple times we went back for refills.
- The first night I walked out of Beetle with four girls. ONe for me, and 3 for my friend who missed his flight so as late. I gave them $20 each to hang out and wait for him. You should have seen his face when he showed up and had 3 girls waiting, hot girls. (He took all three BTW). A few hours later we went back for seconds, and in another bar (forget the name) I met a Columbian girl who told me she knew I had already brought three girls home from the other bar. Word travels fast in a small town.
- By the third of fourth night, a buddy of mine and stopped by the beetle bar, did one loop of the place, grabbed several of the hottest girls without even really talking to them, threw them in a cab, and brought them back with us. Round trip, ten minutes.
- The only problems we had were that girls would basically try and get out of there as soon as they had the money. They were definitely all pros. I had thought they might be interested in the rich americans, maybe husband hunting. Nope, pure pros looking to take your money.
- The condo we stayed had a security guard and the girls could not leave without an escort. You had to walk them down. At first we hated this, but it was actually pretty cool and safe. Hard for them to rob you when they can't leave without your permission.
- Personally I found the Columbians' the hottest, but kind of cold in personality, and the Nica's were the most fun.
- I had one girl all night, and one of the other guys had one all night too. Not a good idea. His girl gave him a massage, he fell asleep, she bolted. Soeone else let her out the door not knowing she was supposed to stay all night. My girl really wanted to sleep! (the nerve). She even said "I'm staying with you but doesn't mean we can have sex all night long". Nope, no reason to keep them all night.
- What worked best for me negotiation wise was to get them back for some short money, then offe tips for what you wanted extra. Pretty much everything is on the menu with pretty much every girl, you just have to give them a little tip. What didn't work was negotiating a longer session up front, because they'll take the money then try to leave after your first shot. Better to pay as you go I found.
- If you take two girls who dont' know each other too well, that can be tricky. Unless you can get them to compete a bit with each other for your attention.
- The girls were all very concerned about what the other girls think, and to make sure you don't tell the other girls what they did.
- Captain V is my hero.
- Fishing sucked, 3 guys got seasick
- It would have been totally stupid to bring girls on the fishing boat.
- ATV and ZIpline rocked
- Was surprised at how many illegal substances were readily available.
- We didn't have a problem with anything getting stolen but we were careful.
- We could have probably saved 30% each time by negotiating harder, but we were only there three days, one time, and it wasn't too bad. Pretty much everyone paid $100 the girls asked, plus maybe $20 for an extra here and there. For fun I talked to one girl after she was done with one of my buddies, and she was good at $50. Next time
- Didn't need to speak Spanish,
- USD are fine and easier than Colones
- Unlocked cell phone with SIM is good to have for texting. I had about 8 numbers by day 4.
- The food all around was outstanding, we were very surprised.
- The country was far more modern and less third world than we expected. Roads were great. Again surprised.

What else can I say?
