I'm interested in hearing any suggestions from the brotherhood on what method(s) you use to create a little audio atmosphere in your hotel room during your trips to CR.

Due to baggage fees, I'm not interested in hauling down a 'boom box' type system. I was thinking something along the lines of GetRhythm's suggestion of a JBL iPod Dock/Speaker setup. Preferably nothing valuable enough to need to lock in the safe - but small enough to easily fit in my luggage.

But let's open this up for discussion as I'm sure you guys have great suggestions other than allowing the Ticas to tune in the TV to their favorite music station. While I'm easy going, I prefer to be listening to music that suits my taste during a session.

I bought a speaker system for my mp3 at Wal Mart which I bring on every trip, cost me $60. The case it came with is about 9" x 6" x 2", which makes it easily fit into my checked bag. However, I've noticed that my checked bag has been opened & searched more often since I started traveling with it. Anyway, I think that the brand is Edifier & it works great! As for music selection, I have a playlist with nothing but Latin music on it, heavy on Paulina Rubio & Shakira, with a few others mixed in. I just googled "Latin top 40", wrote down the name & artists of a bunch of songs, then went to a CR radio station website which lets you listen to the song. If I liked it, I downloaded it. I've had lots of chicas tell me they're impressed with the music & a couple even took the cue to do a lapdance!

Hope this helps.

I have a "boom box" I keep down in SJ but any sort of ipod & speaker configuration should work. I too like music in my room esp during sessions. Its taken for granted that the porn channel is on the TV

I take a Zune with over 100 albums on it. A little of everything except Opera. I let them choose what they want.

Last time I was in CR my Zune locked up and I turned the radio on to 95.5 which all the ladies that came into my room enjoyed.

Health & happiness to all.............

Ipod and JBL docking/speaker with remote so I can control musica from la cama. In my experience, HUGE benefit as the chicas luv to shake their culo's and really gets them into the party mode. Many times the chicas start dancing to the music in front of the mirror, which is a nice extra and seems to loosen them up for some picture taking.

Always bring docking/speaker in my carry-on and have never had a problem bringing it thru security. Bringing music is a MUST.

While I'd love to have a Klipsch system, my suitcase space is at a premium. My JBL On Stage Micro arrived yesterday. It's so small that I was concerned the sound would be a huge disappointment. But it works well enough for use in the hotel room. The bass is weak but the overall sound quality is good enough. And it comes with a handy little remote control.

Apparently the JBL On Stage Micro II has better bass response but it wasn't worth the extra $40 to me. Both versions of this speaker can dual as an iPod/iPhone charging station although it puts the iPhone into airplane mode to avoid the interference from the GSM frequency band(s).

For song selection, I visited BillBoard's Latin Charts http://www.billboard.com/charts/latin-songs#/charts/latin-songs?tag=chdrawer.

I took out all the Mexican music & used Google Translate to review the lyrics of any song that sounded good. This was a good idea since one singer was telling his girlfriend what a low life she was for cheating on him. I don't want any of the girls to have a guilt trip during a session because of my song selection.

You can also find a music channel on the dish system at the SL which plays a lot of music the chicas like and it should also improve their "energy!!"

Just so the Brotherhood knows what's what, here's an Enigma song:
