Where and what day/time are the weekly CRT happy hours?

I think there is one at Dunn and one at SL. Others?

Not an official CRT Happy Hour and I don't know that Brothers hang there but our Sponsor, Harry's Bar Poas, has a Happy Hour, features Tona beer from Nicaragua, has good food and honors the CRT card for discounts (or did the last time I checked). The Gringos you meet there then are residents of such hotels as the Marruecos and the Nuevo Johnson--some of those guys have fascinating stories to tell. Might be a Tico or two, might be a Chica or 2, might be a backpacker from the Pangea down the block, might be an itinerant Gringo voyager passing through. It's also every day and the venue is right across the street from the Hotel Santo Tomas (very Chica-unfriendly hotel--don't even try it). Later on at night the Trannies that hang on the corner might come in to use the toilet--and that's all. Kind of a safe-exotic place.

Damn, has the daily unofficial 5 o'clock (which usually meant between 5-7 in monger time) CRT happy hr. at HDR really become a thing of the past? I miss the good ol' days playing over/under near the elevator with VB, waiting on change from the BM bartenders and watching the evening shift stroll in for work.

Dunn Inn has 2 for 1 happy hours daily from 3-7. On Fridays we have live music at 4 pm and usually there are a lot of CRT guys around.

Just can't beat The Dunn Inn for nice bartenders, good CRT brothers' conversation and good prices. I kept meaning to hit other happy hours from 5 to 7 but never made it out of there, until later to the SL for chicas.

unfortunately it seems to be a thing of the past. 1 night on my trip 2 weeks ago, I encountered VB & we chatted & checked out chicas for awhile. Other nights no one was around & VB was playing poker or not in attendance. The happy-hour scene for crt'ers has moved north into Barrio Amon!

Yes but beer-mancing, conversation with other CRT guys, (or bro-mancing as you refer to it) and ho-mancing, are not mutually exclusive when you are at the bar especially at the SL or the new improved future Dunn Inn casino.
