I have been to CR two times. Both of my visits have been off the wall. I think about them all the time. I have videos and pictures to remind me. I am hopelessly phucked. I have never had an obsession, but this may be a full blown one for me. I can't get it off my mind.

What really sucks for me right now is that my business has been in the toilet as of late. I don't have the cash to make it down. I am pretty motivated to work my ass off and I hope that this Fall I will have the cash to come down. I don't know how to deal with it. I live in the 'burbs and my only other outlet is my gardening, so you can get an idea of how much my life sucks.

I want to phucking curse the Wall Street phucks and the Washington scum who did this to us. They have phucked up my life and I am pissed. They got super rich and phucked the rest of us.

Sorry to be a downer guys. Bad week.

I think many are in the same boat as you now. You are not alone. Change is certain... let's hope it is for the best.

Estebanh:

I hear you bro. Luckily, I was able to do OK during the first wave down of this current depression.

This is not investment advice, just what I did to sidestep the Calamity of 2008...In May/June of 2008, I bought Put Options on the SPY with a December expiration. During early October, I sold most of them for an 87 fold return. I could have banked more if I didn't let the others ride.

It is a crap shoot, but you know your risk up front. The investment service I follow, and have followed for several years says we are headed back down to below March 2009 market lows. I am loaded for bear in December SPY 75 strike Puts. They can be scooped up for about $1/share right now. If the mkt goes below the March 2009 lows before the third Friday in December, these should be selling for about $15-25/share.

You can look this stuff up on Yahoo Finance or on bigcharts.com (click options).

Cheers,
CH

To put some meat on Brother CH0017's bones and make it a click-through, check: http://finance.yahoo.com/ and http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/

I feel ya man....... My business pretty much went in the toilet over the last couple of years. I've eaten a ton of beans and rice over that time. Starting to rebound with a new venture and job with a hotel, but it has definitely been tough and cut my lifestyle to where I don't have a lifestyle. Just been looking at it with the mentality of riding out a bad storm... As long as I'm not dead, I can rebuild... Hang in there.

$605.00 from New Jersey to Costa rica and sportsman lodge for 3 nights .

Park at airport split with my buddy ,food and drinks for $50 per day and spend the rest on Poontang $80x 6=$400 If you buy the ticket now for example -december ,its only a small loss felt ..then you have 6 months to save $800 -$1000 cut out starbucks ,$10 breakfast at the deli, porn sites, asian massage parlors, crack and weed ,Ammo and other dumb stuff and you can have the trip . The best part is once you buy the ticket ........................Life is good again

Sharing Brother Tuanis' interest in the term SPY, I looked it up on a Website for players and investors called www.wikinvest.com
http://www.wikinvest.com/stock/SPDR_Tru ... _%28SPY%29

Whoa, a Brother who loves MOBO as much as I and has greater knowledge of it AND uses a SAT word correctly. I owe you a bunch of beverage--no joke.
PS--I'm sorry that that sentence extracted from is correct.
