If you have time to hit a bar in the San Pedro area.... you have time to hit the Hotel Del Rey... a 10 minute taxi ride. Berk... |

Taxi to The gulch... Pm Pops for short term lodging options... He showed me a couple options yesterday for $45 hour including choice of girl... You'd be there and back in 2-3 hours. Do eeeeeeeet! |

Heartily concur with all the above but consider: time spent in San Pedro cafes and bars isn't necessarily wasted time--you may run into a Chica or 2 who'd love to help you with Spanish for help polishing their English. Maybe no sexo this time but planting seeds/harvesting numbers for your next visit (don't even try to tell me you won't be back on your own dime--and next time as a CRT VIP...if you're making inquiries here, you're in the game). Try the Jazz Cafe in San Pedro--not usually jazz played there but a cosmopolitan atmosphere even your boss might like. BTW, don't limit yourself to just Ticas--the university areas especially are a delightful swirl of women from all over Latin America. The same is true of mongering venues of all types. |

Take a taxi to Idem, most know it. I forget the cost ($60's), but the line up is great and you can session on site. Back in two hours. After seeing all the hotties around UCR, you'll need it. Dean |

A lot of great advice here. Since I lived in San Pedro for 1 year and still live very close feel free to PM if you want my list of hot spots and things to do in that area. Pura Vida EdB |
