I took Pops tour the first morning I arrived and it was worth every penny. He is a good guy, full of helpful information, and even watched my back even after the tour had ended, particularly in my case on my over-enthusiastic first night there. Highly recommended!

Sorry I returned home and now I can't find his card. He has his own website and hopefully either Pops himself will read this and reply or one of the other regulars here will know.

I would like to thank everyone who has allowed me to introduce them to San Jose. In the past year I have met many of you and shared many happy times. I noticed that I now have competition. I want all of my friends and former/future customers to be aware that I am not in any way connected to the Costa Rica Blush website. It looks like this site is setting itself up to compete with CRT. Notice that nowhere on the site is CRT mentioned. For all CRT brothers and friends, please do not post links on this site to my site. My tour is of a completely different agenda. I want tourists to see, enjoy and return to San Jose. I do not do a tour of massage parlors. I do take my customers to see the things that I feel they should see while in San Jose, numerous hotels, restaurants, dance clubs along with the cultural treasures that make San Jose a special place. I take care of them from the time they arrive at their hotel until they feel comfortable on their own. I charge $50 and will hang with a customer as long as the customer wants a wingman. I am available to assist them without extra charges before they arrive, while they are here, and after they leave. I am paid after the tour is over. If the customer is not satisfied, they owe me nothing. I haven't had a complaint yet because my desire is to meet new people and to show them a safe, reasonably priced good time. My tour is customized to the desires of the customer. If you want to go to the zoo, we go to the zoo or Inbioparque. Want to do an intown zip line, we go to Parque la Sabana. Want to eat at great restaurants, we go to any of dozens of great San Jose restaurants. I have taken guests to ferias (farmer's markets), topes (parades), bull fights, furniture makers in Sarchi. I show you where to buy souveniers. I assist you in arranging day tours. I give you incite on life in Costa Rica from a Gringos perspective. If you get drunk, I try to get you home safely. Again thanks for your support and don't confuse me with the other Wingman Tour website.

I agree with POPs in that he is trying to inform and educate guys on more than just the mongering scene. And Pops would NEVER post your picture or anyone else including the chicas with no concern for people's right to priviacy nor without permission. CostaRicaBlush's posted policy is to publish any pic they wish and if it is a working chica she is fair game.

Blush changed its website. There was a post a couple of months ago but the design of the website was different. I also noticed they stole a map (sounds like insider trading). To steal stuff and then trying to capitalize on it, varmants. I can understand why Pops would not want to be associated with this sham of a site. I, for one, am appauled that they do not promote all the other beautiful places to see in CR, like the zoo. Us hard working, nature seeking gentlemen look forward to our vacations in Costa Rica because of the beauty the country has to offer (there are so many beautiful sites to see and things to do). I am thoroughly disgusted.

Dean

So that other site is stealing content from here along with copying Pops wingman tour? One other surprising thing is all the in-your-face pictures and videos available to anyone that stumbles across that site. What good will that type of "overexposure" of the sex scene in CR accomplish...sure similar content is available here & elsewhere but usually not until you get access to private sections. If they bring heat upon their own site fine but they could bring heat down for everyone. And what's with posting all those shots of gringos patronizing gulch places, I suspect 98% of us would not want our faces shown online  not to mention the unsuspecting girls working in them. Hope if any of us ever see some asshole from that site with his video camera filming us in the SL, HDR, KL, a strip club or going into an MP that the appropriate action is taken. A kick to the nuts followed by smashing his camera on the ground comes to mind, phucking jerks.

Paco nails the main point. Especially at the moment, we do not need in your face pics etc. I was solicited to sign up by a CRT member who I respect very much. I did not get the impression he was involved in the business rather just passing along an opportunity to me. I am not sure who the owner is. Everyone should make their own decision but I will not be signing up.

At least One very well known CRT member is apparently very involved in the new sight. He is mentioned often and his own site is linked! I was asked to join and be a contributor by the owner. I did join just to see what it was all about, but never posted anything. Then when he started posting on a totally public site pictures and vidio showing unsuppecting mongers and chicas, I became very leary of the site and his intentions. When he posted the policy concerning pictures ('that if she is a working chica she is fair game for posting with or without permission') I knew I wanted nothing to do with the site. Guess he figured that out since I was receiving almost daily emails and now nothing :D

I agree totally that this is exactly what we DO NOT need at this time (or at anytime for that matter) with the present political environment and attitude towards tourist mongering here.

If you do not want your picture on their site, I would recommend extreme caution since they are using concealed cameras in places like the REY, KL, and SL.

That makes them even bigger assholes. Some travelers consider personal privacy while visiting certain places extremely important and have MUCH to lose back home, those phucking morons should get a clue. Someone here should expose exactly who he/they are here so we can know what backstabbing "fellow mongers" to avoid while in town since they might be walking around filming us. Pretty sure the mngt. of places like HDR and SL would not take kindly to those with concealed cameras in their establishments either.

Exactly Paco....

Why should we have to watch our backs from someone taking a picture of us that we don't want posted? I agree, this person should be outed because it might save a lot of heartache later..

Heartache coming in the form of someones camera getting smashed to the ground. It doesn't take much effort to ask someone if they mind their picture/video to be posted. Not asking and doing it on the "sneak tip" could get that person a handful of trouble by those opposed to their mugs being out there...
