One of the best things you can do is get you a CRT VIP card, it will pay for itself on discount you will get for being a member, it will also give you access to more info, that way you can ensure a better trip. I've only stayed at the SL, so cannot coment on the other hotels. |

For more on this venue, including embedded links see: www.costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=29002 If you want to step up a little bit, there's the Hotel Freebird and Hotel Tiquicia, both CRT Sponsors. Check'm out in the Hotels Forum or the CRT discount page. Ditto Brother C'dude's advice on joining us. Not least is the maps to find all the popular venues. Membership is not a cost, it's an investment. |

All I heard is the Nuevo Johnson ist hat is clean and secure but rather bare bones.... may not have roon safes but bet the front desk has one If you want a cheap place to stay for a day or two I bet you will be OK I have a problem with the location of the place... it is right down town.. what 6 or8 blocks to the DR But it is in an area with many people only streets and getting to the place by taxi is not easy if you do not know where you are going... MHO If you will be in town for a while ... stay there get to know your way around and perhaps move to another hotel after some recon On another note lots of the chicas come from very poor homes so hot water is a nice thing |

Read this; https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16357 Although a low budget alternative, look to stay someplace else for a few dollars more if you want to increase the probability of a GFE. |
