Post subject:  Hotel mini bar

OK, from reading the earlier posts I know that it is advisable to clear out the mini bar and hide the contents, but where is the best place to hide it and can this all be returned to the mini bar on the last day without incurring charges prior to that? I know some hotels elsewhere count and restock the mini bar every day. I will provide some chica booze, but don't want the mini bar attacked like a hourde of ants. Much thanks.

Put it in all the closet or just ask the front desk to remove it.

The mini bar at the HDR has a small padlock on it. I don't know about the other hotels. Also, besides the safe make sure you have a lock for your suitcase. All this info from out awesome CRT site. Worth its price in gold and great CR experiences.

Thanks friends, for your advice. I am so impressed with the tone and helpfulness of this site. That's why I bought a lifetime membership.

Hmm. Ikd. Well, I was all in a panic about this on my first trip to the Del Rey Hotel. I rushed out early to replace the beers and Snickers a girl ate the night before. Turns out it cost about the same to replace the items as the hotel was charging. Let the girl eat her Snickers and drink her beer .

At the SL, the snack tray is easily placed in a drawer out of sight. That should take care of any unwanted pilferage.

If a girl comes in and tries to get into the fridge or opens a drawer without permission, toss her immediately. It will get worse from there....

if you stay more than a few days at the sportmens....you will be eating most meals and have a bar tab (sometimes 3 or more in the same day) so when receiving the bill that night before you check out ...the last thing you want is trying to put the girl with the day that grabbed the smokes, booze or candy from your room,,,last 3 trips i got wise and put the tray in the bottem of the dresser and put a towel over it....didnt spend a dime on it ..
The girls look at it the same way we look at a few free feels in the room ...if your in the room and its within sight its free to take (touch)
