Post subject:  Best Phrase spanish language book for CR
I have read somewhere on CRT that there is an ideal language book for CR. I can't seem to find that book on the search function. Anyone have any pointers as the best book to get, to learn good/key phrases in espanol. I am doing Rosetta stone but learning how to say "the lady has a blue hat" does not seem to help that much--still learning though.

I always carry Lonely Planet's pocket-size Costa Rica spanish phrasebook+dictionary with me on my trips. One of those Franklin electronic dictionary-translators goes great with it.

There are so many versions 1st and second Latin America--Costa Rica

ANy chance you could define the vesion you are talking about or even an amazon link woudl be awesome

Also highly recommended is Brother Christopher Howard's Guide to Costa Rican Spanish, available from Amazon.com for about $9 inc. S/H. You'll love the section on bombas.
