Post subject:  Non Pro / Students
I look for non pro/students information. The bar scene is not really my thing, so I am looking for a place to find non pro or university students that need financial help. In Thailand the McDonalds is the place to be. It is my first trip to SJ, Thanks for any help in advance.

Then why go to CR? Best use of your time, hit the HDR and forget non-pro until you know the lay of the land. Otherwise, you might end up with Manuela.

Burger King by Sabanna park and San Pedro area with Call Amurgura (sp) university ave street along with El pueblo, spanish and wingman are strongly recommended :twisted: :wink:

First, two questions:
1. How is your Spanish?
2. How long will you be in CR?


What's a non-pro? :? I would think that it would be a woman who does NOT take money for sex. So why would you offer financial help? :?

How long are you going to be in country? A few days isn't enough. If you are there a few weeks to a month, you may get some university student. There is a saying in CR that many of these girls know about foreigners who like to promise them the world then hit it and run. I don't remember what it is though.

How's your Spanish? If you can hold a conversation, use other tenses than just present, and can conjugate verbs while speaking, you may have a shot. If not, don't waste your time. "Hola" and "cuanto" are only effective in the gulch.

If the only thing you have to offer them is money and the fact that you're American, don't bother.

I agree with Orange 100%.

Here's another tactic, but again you'll need both Spanish fluency and time:

Simply cruise the parks, ride local buses and visit local shopping/entertainment areas. Play the same pick-up game as you would in the States? This can be especially effective at the end of the month, just before rent is due. But be careful; many women in C.R. will be insulted if you push too hard or try to rush things, which is why you need time to cultivate these relationships.

There are a number of good Latina dating websites that can help make introductions, but again as Orange so clearly states above, the local girls are hip to our tricks and will be extremely cautious.

I understand your desires. It's not that the "bar scene is not your thing." It's that you feel that, if you find a so-called "non-pro," she will have been with fewer guys; thus, the "yeccch factor" is minimized.

Yes, I can speak spanish
For me a non-pro is someone who doesnt do it every day for money but has a steady occupation/work, like a office worker or student, but every once in a while does it to get extra money. So it is not really a novia, but in betweeen novia and bar girl.

I wont have enough time in this trip, so maybe i can start the ball rolling for next trip. i really NOT wish a novia, but not wish a full lady of the night either.

In Thailand, there are many places in which you can find this, mostly in fast food resturants close to universities or in the malls.

Let me know what you guys think. Thank you for any advise. I got a recomendation for the hotel la amistad, i hope it is a good one.

El Ciego gave you very good advice as far as the dating websites.

You can "plant some seeds" online over some time and when you get to San Jose, you may already have flowers in full bloom, without having to wait too long. :idea:

Btw, if a girl has taken money for sex even once, she has lost her amateur status. She's a pro.

You wanna be real careful about qualifying the ladies age-wise--knowing how to spot a fake cedula, for example. CR takes that und*r-age stuff very seriously.

My experience with a non-pro [bank teller] turned out to be no more than a learning experience. It wasn't worth the effort. The relationship moved along soooo slow. It required a lot of wining and dining, with barely a goodnight kiss afterward. :(

If you're not willing to invest the time, effort and money required, I recommend not trying. You should really be a CR resident before even considering it.

You are right, I should ask the question about SEMI pro being that non pro not take money.

So the question now is about semi pro meaning girls who dont do this for a living but for time to time do take financial help

just some words for thought.

it seems to me that you may be looking more for a GFE , than a full blown,hooker experiance,,,,,,,,but as some of the guys say ,,,,,,,once they take $ for what ever reason they have crossed the line ,,,,,they may say , it's a once in a while thing ,,,but there is no such thing,,,,,,,,maybe you like the "hunt" more than the snag,,,,,,,,,I for one am getting too old for the chase,,,,,,,,I prefer to "rent" them for a while and then proceed to taking it easy till my balls are full again

just my 2 cents

Is this your first trip? Man, I would just show up and see what's up if I were you. If you speak spanish then you'll be able to see what's going on soon enough..

My question would be are you seeking a non so you don't pay? Or seeking a non for more "innocence"?

Nope is not the inocent type, again, i mispoke, I should have said semi pro instead of no pro.

I agree that I prefer to rent. In my past no pro experiencies it has not been too happy at the end.

I really dont wish somoene that does this for a living, but rather a person who does it every so often for extra income.

I tend to find that the ones that do it for daily living, are very hard, really not plesance, mostly meachnics and very clock watching, even if you do an excellent pleasure work on them.

I would say that's a somewhat justified stereo type. Good thing since you know spanish, you'll be able to sift through those girls quite rappidly. Take advantage of the fact you can speak to them and read between the lines.

Then become a member, the discounts you recieve will pay for themselves... :idea:
