I'm headed down in August...my third trip. On my last two trips, when I had a chica in my room we listened to a mucic channel from the TV.

This trip I want to have an I pod set up with small speakers with some music the chicas will like.

I am looking for recommendations on music that chics would like. (probably latin?)

Any help would be most appreciated.

You might be surprised at how much American music they like. Its mandatory that I bring music every trip and there's not %1 of it latin on the entire CD..

Believe it or not many of the chicas, and their offspring, I have been with like the group Bond.

They are semi classical with a rock twist. Many of the chicas like the "Classified" album.
I also like it because unlike Ravel's Bolero there are many mello tunes which lend themselves to the moment.

You may want to try some Reagaeton, Hip Hop, or classical music. Bob Marley,Peter Tosch or Sean Paul seem to be well received too.

They hear Latin music all the time so try something different.

I bring my Ipod too with portable speakers ,alwasy when i get the chica to the room I turn on AVENTURA-corazoncito or solo por un beso and we start dancing bachata it works great to loosen them up! then hit em with some regaton...wisen y yandel , daddy yankee,or Don Omar those are the top 3 . regaton dance is like sex with clothes on--get it?

The music will actually somewhat depend on where the girls are from...

Dominicanas: Bob Marley is big, Daddy Yankee, any bachata or reggaeton.
Colombianas: Shakira, Orquesta Guayacan, any vallenato (although good luck stomaching it yourself), Mana, any salsa (try El Gran Combo, Tito Puente
Ticas: Any Salsa (see above), Reggaeton

You can always go right with Mark Anthony, Hector Lavoe, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Paulina Rubio, Ruben Blades, Alejandro Saenz

I have 65 songs of Nine Inch Nails on my Ipod. This seems to have become the soundtrack.

I usually have porn on the tv with the volume turned down and music on.

Hip Hop and Reggaeton make them shake that thing like they want to break it! A mirror is almost mandatory.... 8)

I like to play just about anything by Sublime (Bradley was a genious that died way too early), sometimes 311, or Long Beach Dub Allstars too, but the girls seem to really like the mix of sca, punk, reaggea, and rap.

Start with "Waiting for My Ruca", but you really need something with some decent base for that song.

Sometimes I like to seek out the freaky goth chicas, and then I like to play NIN, Disturbed, Godsmack etc.

Check into Rhapsody. You can stream any music, from any genre, at any time for one monthly fee. No need to store on harddrive or IPOD. And, it's all uncompressed digital.

http://www.shoutcast.com/radio/Reggaeton is the link for live, streaming, 24/7 all over the place. It's free. You simply need Winamp which is also free. Also, you really don't even need Winamp anymore if you elect to listen to Shoutcast "stations" through your web browser. There are no commercials and the quality of the streaming music is superior.

Thanks for the tip, Brother Steven1, especially as it is a source of tools and and an outlet to help me realize my post-retirement dream/ fantasy of having an Internet Jazz/MOBO/Alternate radio station. Hey, I'll even stay legal and pay royalties. If anybody else is interested in that aspect of the Internet experience, go here:

Who'd a thought AOL was actually good for something??

Shortly before I go I look up the top 40 on one of the San Jose radio stations and download those songs. I now have a good library of current and past hits from their viewpoint.

I bring my my Ipod around with me everywhere. In fact, I would be ok if the girl stole my money and left my Ipod. It means everything to me. So I started a custom where I set up one or two playlists for CR. I put a lot on there as far as variety.

IMHO, most of them like the club music. They say "electronic". It's the kind of music you would hear in a club where there are a lot of people are on E. After reading this board, I thought some of the girls would be into some Spanish music. That was a no go. There reactions varied from I know this song and don't care to no reaction at all.

I did get a good reaction to Rhianna, Jay-Z and club music. American music that they don't hear to often. I'll be going the route of no Spanish music from here on out.

I have a $30 bulky speaker that I bring and ALWAYS have my Ipod in my safe and take it out when I use. One more thing, I'm totally aware that the girls will still perform whether I have music or not. But sometimes they enjoy dancing for you, with each other, or just loosen up in general. But its more for me. My two cents...
