NO HABLE ESPANOL

This here is a note to to all those who have never been to CR and are worried about their spanish speaking abilities. while it helpful to speak spanish it is not necessery. you will have a great time, get everything you need and have a smile on your face when you get back on that plane.

I will concede to speak spanish sect that if you want to go to a different level than breakout the pimsluer but you can come down and have special physical connections without speaking spanish

I was thinking the same thing. Quebec has to inhabit the rudest people on earth. Either they flat out dont want to learn English, or they speak English but feel the need to speak French to you

My Spanish is pretty good and getting better by the day. IT HELPS more than you can imagine, especially living near the Mall and UCR.

With that said, I now love to go into places like HDR and when approached or asked I always respond that I speak NO Spanish. It becomes quite entertaining and informative when you can sit there and listen to everything the chicas are talking about, including you and me, and they never have a clue!

BTW, I find that the vast majority of their talk centers around their petty jealousies towards all of the other chicas (competition), especially all of the hotties, newbie chicas, foreign chicas, and the out-of-town chicas. Love it!

I concure with the things EdB just said. And wish to emphasize that, NO, espanol is not a total necessity here, :roll:

BUT YOU WILL HAVE A LOT MORE FUN AND A HELL OF A LOT BETTER SESSIONS AND MUCH MORE GFE AND FOR LESS MONEY if you can speak at least enough to communicate with the chicas. Yes some speak some inglis (mostly the hardcore, strickly business, get your leche and get the hell out chicas)

Tell a DR chica you are a newbie and speak NO espanol; then tell the next one that you speak espanol and that you live here or have been here many times and you will see the difference if she is a hardcore pro. NO espanol newbie--she will be all over you with the "cien" :twisted:

. Espanol speaking long timer-- she will walk away :shock:

NO! Pac, NO bitterness what so ever; JUST STATING A FACT THAT i HAVE SEEN REPEATED MANY MANY MANY TIMES OVER MANY YEARS HERE (in the HDR). I will add, and probably should have, that if you know how to talk to the chicas and can develop a repore with them, the ball game is totally different. I have many friends(chicas) who work and have worked the HDR for a long time that I have a very good relationship with. They know me and we comunicate always in espanol (Now I know Pac says he speaks virtually no espanol and has his "game" and does not need espanol to have a good session with the chicas--I do not buy that totally--his sessions would be a hell of a lot better and he would have spent less money (maybe not important to him) if he did speak spanish!!! :twisted:

But irregardless of your success, it is much harder,much more time consuming, and less likely to happen, if the guy speaks no, or very little espanol. JMHO
