So,I got my passport today and just visited the SL site.I see that they have a toll free 800 number. Is this number toll free from the US,or will it be charged as an international call? or should I just book online?

Called it many times from Miami, haven't seen a charge yet :)

You can also book via email. I wouldn't put my CC number in an email though.

IT IS TOLL FREE FROM THE US. Just be careful because some cell phone carriers do not charge toll free numbers until after certain times, the rest of the time "normal" rates apply.

You will be charged international rates if you call it from CR.

I have always found them to be very responsive via email if you prefer not to call. Fortunately, I stay there enough that I just have them use the same credit card on file from my last stay versus sending it to them via unsecured email. If they didn't have my card on file, I would call.
