Can I exchange "all" of my $ where I am staying, "Sportsman's Lodge?"

I would recommend a bank if you are doing a lot of money. The bank upstairs at the airport is good for large sums. I have done it before there.

Best rate is always going to be at a bank. Avoid the government banks as the lines tend to be long. Use a private bank such as Scotia, HSBC, Citi, etc. The rates will be about he same at all the banks so you gain nothing by waiting in line.

Yes, but be careful because she probably charges for deposits, has penalties for early withdrawal, and has no interest (in anything but your wallet)!

You can change money (dollars) at the front desk of the SL
I would think they have a limit and the rate is in favor of the house.

I always exchange my money at the bank in the INS building across from Castillo. I can't remember the bank name. Does anybody know the name of the bank in the INS building? Not that it's going to make more than a colone per dollar difference, but I like to do the math before I make the walk.
