I would like to take a minute to say why I feel that this board is valuable and that visitors should join. I do this because I have heard lately that it is thought that the value of this board is over when one has been on it for a year or two. Please be aware that I have NO financial interest in the board. 1) Information: Without a doubt, this board is the most beneficial board out there when it comes to Costa Rica and many other places around the world. You can find the nitty-gritty here about a variety of items. 2) Socializing: If you desire, you can form long lasting bonds with other board members and, at your pace, be involved or not. You may not see a friend for a year but you can read about his explotis and enjoy the experience from afar. 4) Money-Saving: This board will save you money if you visit Costa Rica. You will save much more than the cost of membership. Your savings will continue each time that you visit. 5) Relationship: No one on this board is the absolute expert on this. You will be able to read and evaluate for yourself the hopes, dreams, fantasies, heartbreaks, stupidity and a whole host of human experience at your computer each day or evening. 6) Staying in Touch: It is interesting to watch the growth both up and down of the human drama that works its way through the board daily. 7) Entertainment: You will be entertained. After a few years (I have been a member since the board's inception and was the seventh person registered.) you will begin to follow mongerers coming and going out of the pursuit. You will see such things as GetRythm going from loving CR to hating CR. You will see Mighty1 move to CR, live the experience, and then leave CR. You will be able to follow the path of esteemed members like Pac55 as he navigates the waters that he will be soon navigating. ![]() THIS IS THE ULTIMATE REALITY SHOW THAT YOU CAN FOLLOW FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME. I am sure that there are more reasons but I will close so as not to bore you. One final thought please. I started out with the board paying for a one year membership. I struggled with renewing. I bit the bullet and paid for the lifetime membership. I made a mistake at the beginning not realizing that I would be enjoying this board so many year later. Simply because you paid for a one year membership should not stop you from becoming a lifetime member. You will be back years from now to catch up, IMHO. Bottom line for me is that this board provides much more to me and will continue to do so for years than the amount of money that I paid. Admin 1 is a good guy and will not speak of this himself but this board does cost money to run and we should support it. Have a Great Day, Dave |

I have a VIP membership and I can say is that it has been a great investment. I'm hooked! Not only with this site but with the brethren, the discounts, the women, and CR in general. So how does a member/non-member acquire the info of lifetime membership? |

Dave, well said and a good post for newbies and non-members. Here's a bit of math showing how I recouped my $39.00 membership the first time I visited C.R. with card in hand: 1. Although the discount is no longer available, I saved $9.00/night at Hotel Presidente, for a total of $27. 2. Free admission to Pantera Rosa and free drink saved me +/- $6.00. 3. Saved $12.00+ free admission at Kamur. 4. Discounts at HLH (then called Zona Blue) totaled something like $18.00 Total savings my first trip =$53.00. And this doesn't even count the printable map, invitation to the second annual V.I.P. anniversary party, etc. etc. My most recent trip: * Saved $9.00/night at SL for a total of 126.00 * Saved around $65.00 in bar tab/restaurant at SL Beyond the discounts, I must heartily agree with Dave. I have met more and better friends during my four-year association with CRT than I have met during most of my adult life. I have laughed harder, partied better and certainly have done better as a newbie monger than I could have without the companionship, advice, guidance and protection of the Brotherhood. What started out as a "whore board" quickly became a true fraternity of pleasure-seekers. Many of us have forged lasting friendships. I am in regular contact with around 24 other members and enjoy their friendship. 90% of the guys I've met through CRT are quality individuals. You can contact Admin 1 via PM to get details on joining either as a one-year or lifetime V.I.P. |

El Ciego, If we were in Church and testifying, you would win the prize for testifying about this board!!!! Last night, I was laying in bed thinking about Costa Rica and realized that I missed listing what I consider to be the most important thing to me about this site. ![]() For example: - I open a HLH thread and I am immediately transported to the memories in the back of my mind about the orgy I had with seven girls and four guys, the fivesome that I had with my wife, Naomi, Pamela and Kenya (pictures 5372 - 5382, page 18 of the Massage Parlor category) and the times that I spent there with my brother. - I open a thread about Rio and I remember the times with Admin 1 and friends visiting the tourist sites in Rio as well as the orgies at Ipanema Towers and Vips Millenium Suites. - I open a thread about Thailand and I remember the fun at Hell Club, Secrets, FLB, and a host of other bars as well as the shows that are unbelievable. Basically, I can retrieve each memory in the comfort of my home without having to pull out my videos, pictures and other remembrance items that I have kept over the years. This board acts as a ready conduit to the memories of the past and can be retrieved simply by reading other persons experience. This board acts as a archive for my memories. That simply means that each and every visit for mongering that I have done in the past cost less because I get more value out of them by remembering and reliving the experiences. Have a Great Day, Dave |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I paid for lifetime card and saved the entire cost of the membership the first trip. I stayed at Hotel La Amistad for 8 days and rec. 25 % discount on the entire bill. ( Great place to stay, thanks Matt ) I also was tudored by CubaDave which was priceless and enjoyed his company. Thanks, CD. The people you meet is worth the price of membership and the rest is a Bonus. |

I like to be a member and I'll be in CR this coming weekend. Can I join while I'm there? So I don't have to wait for the card. Staying at HLA, how do I find CRT friends? Little scared since going solo there for the first time. Any CRT member going there this weekend? Cujo, little help, please. |

Reading the posts on CRT every morning with my morning coffee is probably the most enjoyable part of my day. Threads bring back memories of a great little country, time with friends, eco touring, and other pursuits. I've learned lots form the board, and try to offer sound advice to others if I have local knowledge about a topic. When I visit CR on one of my periodic jaunts, it's a great feeling to be greeted by hotel, restaurant or other staff as a returning customer and friend. Chatting up other CRT members in the evenings at SL is priceless. Good post Dave. |
