Greetings to the board. Recently discovered this fine site and have spent much time reading all the great information. I have been to CR several times in the past and am planning on being there most of April (yes - even the dreaded Semana Santa). In the past I have been on my own but am looking forward to the possibility of picking up a wingman. It has been three years since my last visit but it sounds like not much has changed. I look forward to hopefully making some positive contributions to the hobby and exchanging info and tales. Piece to all.

To back up Brother Boudman--Those discounts (and there are more in more categories every month) will more than pay you back your first trip. Lifetime memberships are also available at $99 so if you plan to come down in future years, look into that. I know times are tough all over but more than one Brother has said they wish they had gone for the Lifetime 1st thing...YMMV.

Definitely agree with buying the lifetime membership first, CR is definitely addictive.
