i am going to be staying down in san pedro next week, i would like to head over to some of the bars to check out the ladies.. is there any place i can rent a room by the hour? whats the cheapest/safest way to do so? i am on biz and the office is across the way from my hotel so i don't want to bring girls back there really. thanks, i tried to search for answers, found so much so far, i am too excited for this trip

Anyway, there are a couple of hourly types of places: La Oficina, Hotel Asia, Motel Eden.

My recommendation would be to join VIP for $39.00 You will then have access to the VIP map which shows 2 spots for short term hotel rooms.

One is called Hotel Asia ( I think its 15K colones ($28-29.00 approx) for several hours), very close to the Hotel Del Rey, the other is called La Oficina which is I believe 6500 to 8500 colones ($12-16 approx) for 3 hours and is located just a little west of Hotel Little Havana on Avenida 9

I think the Hotel Morazon has rooms for hourly rental when not fully booked, this is also very close to the Hotel Del Rey.

In addition, the map and VIP privileges will give you access to MANY Massage Parlors with full service...
