You should NEVER fully trust a chica, but having a history with her should put your mind a little more at ease. If this is a chica you have never spent any time with, I'd sleep with one eye open.

I think I have heard and understood enough about inviting chicas to your room and what not to do. Are there any additional precautions that are recommended when you are out with a chica for a weekend trip? Have there been cases where chica conspired with a tico to rob the person outside somewhere because they had time to plan this thing? Or am I being too paranoid? And usually, are the chicas who frequent the hotels like SL usually reliable in this respect? TIA |

I normally use a trick that I learned from the Mexican border hotels. I always have the “chica†pick me up at the hotel and then have a hotel employee take her cedula number and taxi/car plates. Just in case I come up missing. Later I comment to the “chica†how annoying but protective my hotel is which they do on my bequest but she does not know that. But on a more positive note, you should try to go on weekend trips with a know quantity, a “chica†that you have met before and connected. That does not mean to drop your guard but keep your valuables lock up when you get to your destination. Or am I being too paranoid? Again, is a matter of risks, if you have a “favorita†pick you up or one of the known quantities from the known places like SL, the risks are probably minimal or none existing. But if you are one of those that love to flash thousands of dollars to impress the “chicas†and pick the first shark at the HDR for your weekend trip then you become a target. My $.02. |
