I stayed there once. Would not recommend it. I would try the Amistad, Castillo, or Sportsmens Lodge. The Clarion Amon is nice as well.

I actually like the Morazon. Super close to ground zero, clean rooms, casino, good service.

I always stay at DR and probably always will. However 2 friends started staying at the Morozon $50/night,no girl fee ,safe in the room only thing missing was mini bar.Employee who likes to go by Ricky Ricardo supplied a cooler for them. They both talked well of it .I like the fact that girls are an elevator ride away anytime of day/night but do think the rooms are way overpriced.

So I guess you don't feel the DR is a shit hole of a room to stay in?

Although the post is a bit confusing I read it that he is saying he will always stay at the HDR, even though the rooms are overpriced, because he likes the convenience of "one stop shopping".

Doesn’t staying at the HDR encourage the chica to be a clock watcher? If you take her off the environment she will relax and will be less willing to keep an eye on her watch. To me the taxi ride to La Amistad give me some more time to engage the chica on conversation as well as some role playing that could be missing if you just take an elevator ride and then start phucking. Remember that women are arouse mentally while is all visual for us. IMHO.

Mike...I think I know what Cujo is getting at, and that is the room itself. I know you love HDR, and Lee always stays there and a few others that post great TRs. But its usually always about the girls, the bar, the casino, the restaurant....you get the idea.

What are the rooms like really? Would you want to spend time in the room if you weren't straight banging the chica?

I too like the Morazon. Ground Zero, no taxi from the DR needed. No chica fee, girls never have a problem going there, the cheap rooms are basic though. Nice breakfast on the 2nd floor included.

Drawbacks - can be noisy being downtown with traffic and not all the rooms get decent wireless service.

Staff is always friendly, exchange rate in Casino was better than DR last time I was there.

Cheap rooms are small, with basic furniture, bathroom, bed, pretty large TV and A/C unit.

Jr suites are pretty nice, much, much bigger, table, couch, larger bed, more furniture and a little quieter (5th floor).

Wouldn't be a factor for the girls either room.

The beggars when walking between the DR and Morazon can be a pain.
