What are the room rates for the HDR? I was thinking about using travelocity to book my flight and then finding the hotel independently since the hotels on travelocity are obviously not tica friendly.

I looked on their website and did a search of the forum and I couldn't find a price. Since I will be on my own on my first trip I don't need a super suite room...hell I backpacked in the toilet bowel hostels of Europe so I can stay pretty much anywhere.

HDR-standard room with either a king/queen is $90+a total of 16%tax +$10 for every girl you bring to room.I.m staying there in Oct. and figure on $135/night so lets say $540 for 4 nights.

i am also considering the Morazon. Going to celebrate my biggest settlement as a solo practitioner. Any of you guys have any problems making reservations online. I just don't want to get to CR without a room.

Johnny,
By all means you MUST have a room for the first night in advance. I do a fair amount of travelling around and it is always a must to have a place in hand to retreat to, regroup and search for more. If you like the place you found extend your stay for a day or two till you find THE place for you,IMHO.
Thanks
BoB

Watching grass grow is more exciting but if you feel the need here you go.

I have always got the best rates using travelocity. You might want to check out the sportsman’s lodge. Nice place with good food. Though its been a while since I have been to S.J. so things could have changed.
