I'm going to be in SJ for one night only. I'm reading the HDR is great for volume, but light on quality. It's not a bad place, but you have to hunt a little more.

I'm trying to find out what IMHO stands for, but what hotel in SJ is the best place to stay. Let me tell you what qualifies. I would like to have a room, go downstairs, hunt, and bring upstairs. Spanish is not a problem.

Not too worried about price since it's one night. Quality is important...

IMHO = In My Humble Opinion:

For class and great ass, any of the following three might do for you:

Hotel del Rey (HDR): Excellent quality women can be found, and if a blind guy (me) can find a hot-bodied spinnerita with mad sexual skills, it shouldn't be too tough for you. Rooms are reported to be Motel 6 quality with well broken-in beds.


Hotel M. Toney, toney, toney. Expensive private club atmosphere. If there are girls on site, they will be absolutely top-shelf and priced accordingly. Recent trip reports which included Hotel M state that girls were demanding, and getting up to $300.00/hour.


Sportsmen's Lodge/SL: The bar can have 36 different women...or three. It depends on so many factors that a Ph.D. statistician might have trouble following the ebb and flow of the chica tide that rolls through SL. While lesser in numbers than what you'll find at the del Rey, quality can often be equivalent and prices $10.00 - $50.00/hour lower than for a similar del Rey debutante. Downside: Bar closes at midnight. Upside: Smaller, boutique hotel; the new section is on par with Hilton or Hyatt in the U.S. Girls are more "tranquilas," less subject to clock-watching etc. A nice experience, which is why I try to stay there every trip.

Concur with the above, IMHO. Don't know who has been telling you that quality is lacking at the HDR but, on any given night, you will find several who are Penthouse Pet quality and a lot of chaff. Sort the chaff and have fun!

There are really only two hotels (possibly 3) where you can go downstairs, find a companion, and go back up. Those are:

Hotel Del Rey
Sportsmans Lodge
(sometimes) Hotel M

The SL is hit or miss, it's a great place to stay, but there's not always a lot of talent there. The HDR has tons of talent, but you have to do a little work to find the good stuff. Hotel M is expensive, and the owners will hook you up with some good talent, but expect to pay for it.

All other places are just hotels, you're going to have to go hunting. If you're staying one night, just bite the bullet and stay at the HDR, it will be easiest (assuming you can get a room).

For one night, has to be HDR.

One night only, HDR, not even a question.

if I had only one night left I would probably spend it at the Del Rey. You will not be disappointed in the quality I'm picky and I've hardly ever gone to bed without a smile on my face at the Del Rey.

By the way the elevator ride up with your catch can be quite exhilarating.
