If you can help it, I'd skip Jaco completely. Strip clubs are pretty frustrating for the most part in CR. Sounds like you would be better off visiting a MP in SJ
You can search for hours on good times in Jaco and not find much..

First of all, you guys are all fantastic. It's a buffet of information with dozens of good laughs. Very addictive site. 2 last questions. I'm old fashioned and love strip clubs...Are there any quality strip clubs in or very near Jaco with a plethera of hot women??? Sounds like the only game in town is SJ. Only going to be in Jaco for 4 nights and I'm considering ditching the last night to be in SJ. I have to go early in that airport anyway.... Is there a pharmacia in Jaco? Never tried vitamin V or C and thought it would be a fun experiment... Thank you all and happy hunting! |

You can search for hours on good times in Jaco and not find much.. Cujo Gotta do some time in Jaco. Golf, fishing, and I loved the sunset in Tamarindo. Hoping the sunset is the same in Jaco. I can only ditch one night in Jaco if I need to.... So I guess no other game other than the BB, but thanks for the advice |

I did Jaco on my recent trip. It sucked for me but you may enjoy it. The beach wasn't that great, the only game in town right now is the BB which on the weekend has very high prices quoted by the girls. Don't blame them for hitting the guys up for cash since most of them are the bigger spenders there for fishing and stuff. Just the more experienced monger might not want to wade through all the crap they dish out trying to find a girl. I pulled a girl for a TLN, nothing spectacular but doable enough by my standards. We get to the room and she wanted the money up front. I showed it to her, promised it to her and she still was being a bitch about it. I finally just told her to leave. She then told me I needed to pay her for her time. I pointed out that the security guard was down stairs and her choice was leave or I call for him. She left calling me every freaking name in the book. GetRythem may have some better info for you since he did a lot more time in Jaco then I did. |

Unlike you Spanky , i've always had a good time in Jaco. I like the sleezy laid back beach town atmosphere.  I've always had good luck in the BB especially during the rainy season. It seems the girls outnumber the guys and they seem willing to bargin for either less money or more time. Of course ,as always, YMMV

Of course ,as always, YMMV Hey Boudmon, you are right on the sleezy laid back beach town stuff. It just wasn't my preference but your description was right on. I'll also concur with you on the BB numbers and I was there for many an hour just chilling. I still heard some ridiculous numbers being quoted but I was there on a weekend where the price goes up for the guys on weekend fishing trips. The one I pulled out of there was great in the bar. We chatted, had a nice time, bought her a drink and walked back nice and cozy. In the room she turned into a bitch. I think everyone should go to Jaco once. The drive was nice and I got to see some of the country and learn some history from my driver. Was interesting to me to learn about stuff I never knew. Was worth the trip for that. |
