All Ticas who are 18 or over have a government ID card (cedula). Girls from every other country should have a passport to be in the country legally.

If they can not prove they are 18 pass no matter how hot they are. If you take a chance you may be the new "hot chica" at San Sebastion.

What ID said. If you have a doubt, ask for the cedula or the passport. It isn't worth being someone else's hot chica if you get caught.

Actually, no. Not all foreign girls need a passport. For example, I know for a fact that Panama and CR have treaties that allow citizens to move back and forth without a passport, but only by land (they can't fly in without a passport). I would assume the same is true of Nicaragua. I think they do need some kind of government issued cedula from their country though.

This is one of the benefits to staying at a hotel that checks the girls IDs. Patricia, at Hotel Castillo, saved me from unknowingly bringing an und***ge girl up to my room. the girl even had ID. The problem was that it was an ID for a woman 15 years older and 70 pounds heavier than her .

Do not trust a cedula even in the REY. These chicas use their sisters, cousins, friends, etc. and even if they have a cedula (or passport) that says they are 18 and they turn out to not be, YOUR A S S IS GRASS!! . Know one chica that worked the Rey for 3 years before they caught her 3 weeks before her 18th birthday--Yep, she entered the Rey the first time 1 week before she was 15. I once took my ex novia's cedula away from a 17 yo in the REY. she was running a scam on guys--would get to the room and then tell them she was 17 and if they did not give her $500, she would call the police.

Actually the MPs are much safer than the Rey/KL/NYB in this sense. They actually check the age much closer. They will be closed down if caught with a und***ge chica working.
