Not in my 50s, but it is a time honored CRT tradition to hijack threads and ignore requests :wink: .

But, a few things. First, spend some time with her. A GFE does not rush to the kill normally. Also, explian to her, if you have the lanuage in common, what a GFE means to you. It is not the same for all of us. Is this about the sexual acts for you? About how you will be in public? About expressions of tenderness (some are very good at accesing that part of themslves regardless of their feelings- especially mothers). Also, be a BFE- that makes her job easier. Find out what THAT means for her. Buying her a rose or other typically appreciated romantic crap (crap to us, not to them) sets the mood.

I am not in my 50s :( :cry: (more like 66), but I think your question is all about the extreme (concidered so in the states) age difference. In most other countries 20-30 or more years difference is not concidered taboo nor that unusal. I have dated many chicas in the past few years who were in their 20s, even a couple of 18 and 19 yo chicas. One of my 3 'lil darlins' is 18, and she has even asked more than once to move in with me :roll: :twisted: :roll: AIN'T GONA HAPPEN :!: :!: .

Sure there are a few people who frown when they see this 'old fart' in a resturant with a 20yo snuggled up to me. Ususally it is some 60+ mujer who is alone or with 2 or 3 others just like her (no man). I even got serious :shock: :? :oops: :oops: over one 28 yo for a few months. Hell her father and I even got to be good friends and he is 4 years younger than me, AND HE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH ME DATING NOR PLUCKING HIS DAUGHTER :? :roll:

Guess what I am trying to say is that it is no big deal here, people see it all the time and for the most part do not pay any attention to couples with a big age difference.

As for GFE, if it has to be negociated, it is not going to be worth it nor of any interest to me. GFE, for me, has to be the result of a connection creating a desire for more than just a pluck on the part of both me and the chica. Sometimes I will do a chica just for the pluck, but, most of the time I want the connection to be there, and if it isn't "NEXT"

What’s up with newbies’ lately? OC, you and some others newbies are over thinking the whole P4P action. I know it can be intimidating to go to another country and do something that is consider illegal in the USA, but is completely legal there. The only thing to be aware of is to have enough money for everything that you want to do or tickle your fancy. Everything else is irrelevant, noise.

Let’s put the situation in perspective, all of this 50-60’s old guys can go to CR and be players and being doing it for many years, the trail is already paved and ready to drive for you. Imaging a modern person discussing his worries with an “Old West” pioneer, it just does not make any sense to worry.

Also, who cares what others think. As long as you are civil and not the obnoxious drunken gringo, you will be fine. For every ugly stare of a fat female seeing you with your chica, there are ten guys giving you the thumps up.

Good Luck and just enjoy it.

A 60ish gringo walking around with a sweet young thing will draw many disapproving looks.

Who cares.........let them look. The Ticos will be jeaulous.

There seems to be 2 standards here in CR, one for the ticos and another for the gringos. When a gringo does things ticos have always done people frown on it.

Maybe the ticos are more discrete by going to the massage parlors and to one of the many many secretive love motels around the area. I guess the gringos are more upfront about it and do things more in a public manner.

I see here that the overwhelming majority likes to phuck multiple chicas.

Anybody out there who likes to spend a couple of days with just one?

I know that you don't get the variety, but the youthful GFE has got to be incredible.

You are basing your response on the few that replied. There are lots of mongers that go for the GFE over multiple days. It really comes down to doing what you are comfortable with. If you want the illusion of a girl friend then go for it. No one will judge you one way or the other. Just remember... it is an illusion, so don't fall in love.

If you do fall in love, please post about it so we can be entertained by the hell that you life will have become. The board is coming due for another train wreck, monger/hooker love affair tale of woe. :lol:

Diablo – what is your definition of GFE. I do not trust my girlfriend here at the states, let alone a CR chica. Where does trust come with CR GFE? Could you please enlighten me :?: :?:

Altho I was not looking for a regular chica, as I found multiples a nice pastime, a little over 3 years ago I ran across one whom I am comfortable enough to go back to on a regular basis. Without some sense of trust, I would not have considered this. Trust to me is not having to worry about ripping off my dinero, lying about sick relatives, pets, etc., watching my back if I get over served in tico bars, and even saved me from a band of marauding transvestites one nite. She picks me up at the airport, is with me 24/7 for weeks at a time and we have traveled all over CR, Nicaragua, Panama, and Colombia for 3 to 4 months a year. Of course, it is all about the money, because without it she would be down the road with other gringos to support her mother and son. For me, it is a nice GFE without any form of attachment --I'm good with that. For her, it's a gringo without too many bad habits, understands a little of the language and customs, with a sense of humor, and a steady source of dinero, albeit not a lot. More of a vacation for her, instead of having to work for it. For all of this, she treats me very nicely---3 or 4 times a day

D- that description is more of a favorita or novia than a GFE. I’m more down with the definition used here for CRT ;

GFE Girl Friend Experience, A subjective term, but usually used as praise for a very passionate, sensual, non-mechanical experience. Most consider deep French kissing a baseline requirement for GFE.

I could see where you obviously start with GFE and they become a novia. But is a matter of semantics. I think that novias will be a one-hit wonder, while GFE can be achieved on a regular base with the right skills. At least that is my understanding of it.
