Some guys pay in dollars and some guys pay in colones. While you may discuss the price in dollars it is okay to pay with colones. Just use the easy exchange rate of 500 colones to 1 dollar. So 50,000 colones is 100 dollars.

Yea the 500 to 1 conversion is not exact but is a very good and easy way to do it. I noticed a lot of the girls at the SL would leave the room then change the dollars out at the reception desk. Not the best exchange rate but it is convenient.
